This game fu*ks, in a good way

So, couple questions. On Slalom Shifts, Aero GPX purposefully recreates the edge hover speed tech from GX? Two, Does running Top speed machines present a problem for executing all those Fatal Dives? (Since it seems to scale the longer you Dive for) Three, is killing your rival still worth it? I Imagine it doesn't immediately disqualify them since the player now respawns in regular cup play. Either way, I'm having a blast so far. This game introduces ways of mastering the game that DON'T make you face the risk of carpal tunnel and tendonitis so that's nice.

I love how similar this game is to XF Extreme Formula, while also doing a ton of stuff differently. At the end of the day, F-Zero fans are eating very good this year. FZX fans will probably like this game more, while FZGX fans will like XF more. It's like these games were made for each other, and I can't wait to see what both of them look like when they're finished! Also why does every F-Zero-like game have to have an absolutely peak soundtrack? Idk why, but I'm NOT complaining!

I’m bit worried the game has snookered itself; The tracks have to be easy to make the speeds manageable (The tracks really seem very easy to drive)., but then making them any more difficult then this and the game will be frustrating, slow and ruin the high velocity and exhilarating feeling. It feels more like a game I’d play just to enjoy a 1 billion inch 4K HDTV and amazing sound system, then play for any kind of gaming challenge.

This game does what Nintendon't (with F-Zero GX still not remastered). Plus the cel-shaded graphics actually make it easier to make out the road ahead - a good choice for games of this speed!

I want to race with the Finnn's Hydro Blazer. It reminds me of the game Hydro Thunder.

I think I’m starting to see some issues with the double bar system: if you can manage to remain in 1st place, chances are you won’t be losing any health at all which would detract from the challenge. However, in case you use up all your boost energy, what if you can then use your health bar as auxiliary boost energy, but doing so takes up large chunks of the health bar, putting you at risk if you boost too much?

In addition to my comment about the game itself, I gotta give props to Madel for the sick driving. As a fan of the genre, I definitely want to see someone who's GOOD at the game so I know what it looks like and what kind of advanced techniques and mechanics there are. It's so much better to see what kind of game it is compared to a journalist recording their first time ever touching the game struggling to learn the basics. And the quality is always top notch as well. Thanks for the upload!

So much about this game looks SO awesome! The characters look amazing, the machines like sick, and the tracks seem like good design. That last one especially looked like it has interesting high risk, high reward options. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I'd say the weakest things right now are a wimpy boost sound/visual and some slim details on the backgrounds, but hopefully that's stuff that gets improved as development continues.

It looks like F-Zero, but sanitized heavily to be more approachable. It also seems to lack any defining mechanic.

Gameplay is perfect, track designs are awesome and music is catchy. The only thing I would tell the developers to fix is to suit the difficulty according to the challenge it should represent. I am refering that even if it is being played on Extreme, you can get pass the other drivers quite easy, finish on first place without many problems and they barely attack you. If Extreme is like this, I can't imagine how easy would be the lowest level. Otherwise, I admire the developers for their hard work and dedication to this project, and I will buy this game as soon as I can.

Yeah, sadly Redout is still relying on really gimmicky track design. I really wanted to like this franchise.
