It's been awhile so I don't recall exactly. There was an app.ini adjustment I made that stopped it. I believe that was removed from the ini file in a later release but they also set that value by default now.

I don't recall the model number, it might be in the video description. But they're LG 39" OLED, 800R.

Yeah, straightforward if you've ever set up triples before. I like the curved better than flat as where they come together in the corners feels more natural. I imagine the far sides can get a little warped but I don't notice it while driving.

Excellent information, thank you! I've learned I like it a little further back than most setups have it. Helps me rotate the car with the brakes that way.

I think you should join a league as soon as you can. Most are very beginner friendly, so find one that will have you based on your iR/SR and have fun!

It's similar, as you'd expect with them both being mid-engine. I think you get a much better feeling in the Corvette, however. It drives really well. Hope it gets a little BoP love for Season 4.

It does feel really good around Road America. With the overlays, I actually don't see any of them; standings, relative, telemetry, track map, nada. The relative you guys see hides the in-game relative I see on my screen. All of the overlays from Racelabs are added through OBS only.

Truly. I think 04s are in my future, but no clue where that additional second is.

From my experience, the best place to find teams is through leagues. Generally a league is formed around a specific car or series. So if you race there for awhile, build a reputation for being a clean driver / chill person, you're more likely to hear about people teaming up to run endurance races. Those often turn into teams who will run the special events throughout the year. As for series, really depends on where you're trying to take it (open wheel, tin tops, NASCAR?) and what your current license level is.

Check out the forums, but also in races look at player’s liveries and then google the teams you see… that’s how I did it… gl!

Much appreciated! It does feel like a big change to make. I've enjoyed the competition in the GT3 class this season. A little worried about the unknown but hey, I'm going to "show n go" and learn as much as I can throughout the season. Right now I just need to figure out which car to drive. 🤔

Oh yeah, if LMP2 was an option in PRL I'd definitely go that route. I just enjoy the feedback from that car. The GTP feels muted to me. I'm excited for a new challenge though and I suspect I may drive the prototypes for special events sometime next year, so a good opportunity to learn the car further.

@@chrisstewarttv Haha don’t worry buddy, I would bash myself watching it from your POV, I’ve always been of the opinion you should stay off the mic until you’ve rewatched the incident and seen what the reality is, I just lost my head a little bit with getting rammed deliberately, the first time in 14 years of being on and off the service. Hope to see you out on track again soon pal, very glad I stumbled across it it’s class to see something like this from a different perspective, keep it up :)

I can definitely understand why some people wouldn't like it, but it could be an interesting test for a season. I just like the idea of not seeing lobbies filled with one car manufacturer when it happens to be OP for the week.

I'm quite biased for the Corvette. I've probably driven the Mustang on the day it came out and have been driving the Z06 since. My leagues have car lock in as well, so I'm always driving the Corvette for the practice alone. Edit: that said, I generally prefer mid/rear engine GT3 cars. I drove the Porsche last season.

Sure thing. If you're searching for a car to drive, I'd highly recommend getting in the next time Test Drive is up and try a few with different engine layouts. You might find a front engine car fits your driving style better than a mid engine car. Of course, looks and allegiance plays a part too. Gotta look good to go fast. 😂
