@@martenomg Oh i rode my uncles xt600e, it has torque but not that much power, the con of it is that it's heavy.

I'm not really sure, but I think it has around 3-4 hp, but I could be very wrong. I rode it around the mountains for 3 whole summers before I got the honda 😁

@@martenomg My friend fell down the river with his pitbike while we were crossing it, kickstarter didn't move a milimeter, we thought it was locked up, but turns out that it stalled on the intake stroke and somehow a couple of small rocks went into the cylinder🤣 unfortunately he had to rebuild the top end it because the rocks damaged the head and piston, and the uneven explosion caused a damaged cylinder, and all of that because he didn't have an airbox lol

@@Duch125 Oh god, I would probably have a mental breakdown if that ever happens to me. One time when i was riding with a friend (it was in the same video) we were crossing this river (it was maybe a little under a meter tall) and my chain fell off right as i was emerging on the other bank. I was so lucky that it didn't fall off in the middle of the river. Btw do you have instagram or some other social media?

My 125 is from 2005, it's a little old but works perfectly. In my country you can't buy the XR 150l because of EU CO2 emissions regulations, sadly

@@martenomg I don't think the engine has changed, same basic bike for 20 years. Works well and is time tested. Enjoyed the vid.

If you're riding in town or in country roads it has more than enough power, but I don't think you can take it on the highway. I personally love the bike, because it is perfect for my needs - riding on small country roads without lots of traffic and off-roading from time to time.

Alright thanks, I currently have a Varadero 125, it's quite heavy and I'm looking for something like an XR 125 because of its offroading capabilities

​@@utsaar The XR 125 is quite capable off-road as long as you don't expect it to act like a two stroke. If you ride it correctly it can take you almost everywhere

@@martenomg Yeah. Mostly those spots are hours away from my place so a lot of travel and adds value to experience as we don't know what's we'll encounter down the road.

I'm using the oil suggested in the Owner's manual. If the weather is hot I sometimes stop and let the engine cool down a little and then continue.

I've only had the bike for 2 years and have around 4000 kilometres on it. I have changed the oil twice up to this point. I make sure to wash it after getting mud on it so i doesn't rust. I use a enduro chain lube so dust doesn't stick to the chain. As for the kilometres, i am not really sure for how long the engine could last, i am told that the previous owner changed the piston and the valves at around 25 000 kilometres. The only problem that i've had with the motorcycle so far is that the carburetor got filled up with some particles, but a simple cleaning did the job for me.@@user-bj8ly5ed9c

No problem, riding it every day of the weekends. It's just amazing, especially compared to my old 80's polish 1.7hp moped wich broke every 5km😆. These things are bulletproof.@@martenomg
