Something you would never see in corsica... my 3yo and 5yo go to school biking, with me running next to them. But some other kids ask me , "oh i wish i could bike to school but there is nothing to attach my bike to or no cycling paths leading up there... "

the first bus did nothing wrong at all. 1.29 nothing to show why the cyclist crosses the stop line, doesnt appear to be an ASL there. only the cyclist did anything wrong

Oh dear! That was shocking to watch. Thankfully work has started on a proper cycling route.

this videos shows the hypocritcal nature of cyclists. 0:03 just ride at the pedestrians walking across the road. 0:10 there was a no left turn, but the cyclist turns left any way 0:27 cyclist at speed on the wrong side of the cycle lane 0:31 cyclist at speed entering the cycle lane

I really liked how the cycle path you don't have to worry about running into cars at all and you can go for a road trip conveniently. Something that also stood out to my was the "parking spots" for the bikes outside restaurants revealing how bike-friendly Amsterdam is whereas (even in California) where I live and people like to bike a lot something that deters people from biking everywhere is the fact that it can be very hard to park at a restaurant or a coffee shop!

Love the video! I am from the United States- It seems like there are a lot more bicycling rules in Amsterdam (and people follow them). Do children learn "bike etiquette" in schools?

This system is really convenient! How do you think we could begin to implement this ferry/bicycle system in other cities/countries where ferry transportation is prevalent?

Great video! You mentioned during your presentation that for other countries to begin to incorporate Dutch street design they should first start with using the Dutch roundabout design. Do you think this concept would be able to work successfully in cities that are overpopulated? Do you think it would be more or less beneficial to street traffic in overpopulated cities?

How do tourists play a part in the flow of traffic? Is it typically difficult for them to adjust to the Dutch street design system?

Biking in this park seems so soothing! Is the reconstruction of the cycle path still in progress or is it postponed due to COVID?

The ferry-bicycle system is amazing! How does it work in general? Is it a transportation system within one city or connects multiple cities?

Do you think that they way "everyone takes care of each other" is a unique aspect of Dutch culture that permeates into the way cars and bikes interact, or can this work in places without that culture i.e. the United States?

The pedestrian bridge (seen at 2:21) is very interesting, is that a common feature around Amsterdam, or are most bridges built for vehicular traffic as well?

Great video! Do many of Amsterdam's roads include speed bumps (like the one seen at 0:20) to protect cyclists?
