20240901 Trip through the City
A test flight for the recently purchased Viofo VS1 dashcam, replacing the long serving Boscam HD08. I picked this one because it comes with a Polarising Filter, and a huge SD card.
Our trip takes us from Peacock Drive through King William Road to the beginning of North Rd in North Adelaide then some time later coming back the same way.

No lunch available in Hawker to our surprise, staff shortages at the hotel! So we pushed on the Quorn for lunch at the Transcontinental (yum). Onwards homewards after that the light fades after passing through Clare but I left the video as it was after dark :-)

Downsun again so the light is pretty good, some wildlife seen, a good number of Kites orbiting the road feasting on roadkill and an Emu avoided a little while after Parachilna.

They are such funny birds. I have one that I’m looking after as a 5week old.
The distance to Sydney on the Victorian border is actually 1125 km - lots of inconsistencies
I wish more of the road destinations will include Sydney as the main destination
