These clips were filmed after a night trip from Dartmouth. They start and Lands End and finish on the approach to St Marys in view of the Peninnis Light House. The dolphins had accompanied us through the night. Low Scudding Clouds at dawn. Big waves at noon. Golden sunset and the close of day. I thought Khachaturian's Adagio from Spartacus suited the mood. It was the theme tune to The Onedin Line, a sailing adventure series on British TV. I believe it is from a Decca recording of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra circa 1962.
This is charming little video. A chance to experience a short voyage on a motor sailer from my armchair. Would love to be a real passenger nee a crew member on your boat. Send me a ticket, Ive got all the kit!

What was charges? Do we have to register in, I'm from the UK, what was the depth over the sill when you went in? Cheers
Depends on the length of your boat. I think we were charged around £20.00. The harbour master's deputies greet you with their launches and you must wait their command to enter. They know the depth over the sill. They direct you to a berth. You then walk to the office to register and pay.
