Hi! I really like this series and the swedish countryside you showcase in your videos. More so given that the attitude towards forestry in sweden can be summed up as: "let's exploit and make as much money as possible". I mean, what's wrong with just enjoying it as it is and treating it respectfully, like this video shows?

Interesting stuff. Totally agree with you that multi-tools are not that great. Reaching certain screws on the bike tend to be awkward or impossible. 9:11 - That barking... The first time I heard it, I thought it was a bird and even looked up at the treetops. I actually have footage of it - quite comical! @@biketouringnature I can’t say it works every time, but in my case, it did, probably because the deer came very close to me. Since I sleep with earplugs and need complete silence-where even the rustling of trees can disturb my sleep-the barking was loud, sharp, and echoed. It was quite scary to be woken up from a deep sleep. I guess I was just desperate to make it stop!

That's exactly how I'd describe cycling in the rain: 'manageable, but not fun'. I guess that last year you toured during July. Here in Värmland, I recorded 24 days when it rained that month. That was the most I'd recorded for any month. That was followed by August with 25 days of rain! I got very lucky last summer during my six week tour, when the only day during late May and the whole of June that saw anything more than a few drops was the last day of June.
