These are cockpit videos from the Brooks AFB, TX Centrifuge. I participated in a year long 12-G Force protocol where we tested the many configurations of g-suit (ATAGS, Combat Edge, etc.) at sustained high G forces. In this video you'll see an 11 G, 12 G and 12 G Loss of Consciousness. I had over 50 12 G rides and only 1 GLOC.

It all depends on the vector. Pilots experience, Y vector g force from their heads to toes, like a spear going through you, Vlad the impaler style, drains the blood from the brain. This guy is in the Z vector, like if a guy ran up and speared you through the gut, that direction. The blood flows to the back of the body, so passing out is less likely but breathing is so hard. Like five guys lying on your chest.
