That advert’s from the late 1980s judging by Safeway’s logo at the time. It can’t be from 1984. I wish Safeway and Presto were still up and running today.

Some of my best childhood holidays were at Butlins Filey. It's so sad that it's all gone.

Great memories. There's a handful of photos that are not of the Filey camp in here. If you knew Filey, you'll spot these.

Neighbours is coming back on Prime Video later this year so this makes this outdated.

Safeway was better. It's so sad that Morrison's bought them and killed the Safeway brand.

Anyone happen to know a bloke called Eddie who worked in the kitchens, caterer in 1975, he only had the 1 season there in 1975, i dont know his last name unfortunately, my wife's friend is trying to locate him as uts her biological dad, she was 15 months when he left

Had a great week at butlins filey in June 1966, loved everything about it ,so sad when it was demolished, haunting music 🎶, York House, a redcoat who always signed off ,saying ta Tara ta brilliant ghostly ending ,whooooooooooooo 😀 💙 😢
