The Sea Nymphs - Lilly White's Party
La Musique Médiéval ça me fait penser aux Princesses
J'aime Les Belles Princesses
Not nearly as good as The 1971 Live Version in Bruxelles. Im also not actually a fan of Jazz whatsoever which might be reflected there though.
Woud like to know if anyone thinks another Univers piece tops this one.
Kinetic Noise
Brilliant!
These guys were great. I was lucky to have seen them. The Kings of odd timing.
Saw them years ago and forgot how amazing they were 🤩
Just popped up out of nowhere. Ah Tim. You are loved and missed so much you amazing creature.. Absolute genius. My favourite track <3
Excellent Composition.
A BUCKET
Definitely see what black midi been listening to, cardiacs are great and still inspiring to this day
It still aches Timmy. Sob
❤️❤️❤️
Oh Tim.....you genius.
Wonderful
I'm here because all of Cardiacs was removed from Spotify, amazing music.
RIP Tim. Never forgotten.
May he live in our hearts forever.
@@gemynd5894 Definitely will my friend. Only saw them twice, but that was enough for ever. Take care.
R.I.P my friend, who i never knew, but understood, to a degree. X
What can I say? Brilliance in spade loads.
This Group is Worth Listening to. Wonderful and It should Call to The Inner Self.
Peligra tu vida .... Ya llega Godzilla

Reminds me quite a bit of the instrumental tracks on King Crimson's "Starless and Bible Black".
Like the rest of the Archive recording, sublime.
Not enough words. Love It
Genuine case of genius.
If you're referring to Tim, I think he was either a true genius or a creative monster in the best possible sense. Either way, his artistry is so deep and meaningful it was able to capture even the most unlikely listeners and make them all share the same love for what he and the band created.
@@gemynd5894 I’d agree with that, there are very few people who seemed to be born with a mass of musical melodies and arrangements within their heads, some are obvious and get the acclaim to their works (Mozart for example) and others keep knocking them out but are only appreciated as time goes on and sometimes too late (Bach for example). JG Thirlwell is another who just keeps producing original and underrated pieces.
Genius case of genuine
Reminds me of Robert Wyatt.
I've never really listened to the Sea Nymphs until about 2 weeks ago and I've been seriously missing out
Ghoti is Fish brought me here, cool tune
Love that intro so much
Absolute masterpiece
He strode among us like a colossus. A colossus with a wide grin and a cheap guitar amp. And Sarah. And Bill.
Excellent use of scissors really
My dad was showing me this and we said the same thing
Mis hijas de 24 y 34 alucinan con fulano !!!! Que banda más BAKAN!!!!
Is this 14/8? 16/8?
I count it in 12/8
@@judwinfield6092 Makes sense, thanks!
@@judwinfield6092 It's mostly 12/8, but count again just after 1:45, or during the spoken-word section from 5:40
Drums are in mostly 6/4 and 7/4, scissors are in 13/8 so they overlap differently every time.
I'm gonna second the 12/8 with a clarification that it's subdivided as 3+2+3+2+2 to get that wonky groove.
Great and fun song! :)
Tremenda banda , geniales
Unreal !
Tim Smith should have written and produced stage musicals. He would have been a genius at it.
Tim Minchin wouldn't have stood a chance. RIP Tim.
So good
Jesus fucking christ. I wanna hear this when I die.
This reminds me a bit of The Man Who Liked Zombies by Idiot Flesh. I wouldn't be surprised if they were Cardiacs fans.
Best song and lyrics on one of the greatest albums ever made.
Yes! Of course I love everything Tim made in his life, but the early 90s era of this album, Day is Gone ep, Heaven Born, and OceanLandWorld is mindblowingly amazing. It was Tim's new musical adventure after the legendary sextet and the masterpiece which is On Land and in the Sea. Cheers
I cant quite believe that while, what i was aware of (musically) in the '80's, this was also happening..
this song gave me the right to free healthcare
idk what that means but yea it’s great
Brilliant. Obvious.
Why just 3 comments? The cardiacs were amazing!!
wheres the fucking dog?!
Tim should have written a bunch of full length classical symphonies. He would have been ranked up there with Beethoven and Brahms...
Seriously, what about this piece would make you say that? A simple, jokey theme dominates the entire piece; background instruments also play their repeated parts, and then there's some ear candy at the end.
@@asammler I dont see the problem, many symphonic pieces are variations of a central theme, realy he did make symphonies as many of his related works contain a very similar main idea he just called them albums
instantly puts a smile on my face
