This is the best violin/piano duo I've ever heard. Pace is the greatest collaborative pianist...and Kavajis and ge play as equals without fanfare to serve whatever music is before them, not their own egos. This is chamber music at its best. I've seen them several times and would travel any reasonable distance to hear them whenever possible.

Mr. Perlman recorded this piece with his former student David Garrett on the album ICONIC. With CV shutdowns effecting everything, it's hard to know which performance might have inspired the other, but whichever came first, it is a beautiful piece of music and both are wonderful performances.
