Surviving a Glitch Only round!
Disc Golf Dumpster Fire challenged me to do a round with only the @Mvpdiscsports Glitch, and I begrudgingly accepted! Armed with only the lightweight finesse disc I took on the formidable Etowah disc golf course.

@mattwhitediscgolf ever since I've started playing Oregon park I ain't wanted to play Deerfield
I got one, I use it as both approach and put disc, it's also good for throwing through trees with lots of branchs, all the weight seems to be on the rim and it cuts right thru most branches I've hit without to much hassle

@@mattwhitediscgolfyes that’s what I meant. I’m also one of the reasons 15 got changed before it was permanently in the ground. Stupid lady yelled at us during the test run tournament
Man she yelled at everyone, including the city council people about us being in/near her yard.
@@mattwhitediscgolfbest part was we weren’t in her yard or near her fence. Boy did she come out screaming though. I’m more annoyed about 14 being changed. That was such a good hole.
@@Mikenewton4l I agree it’s a huge bummer to lose it. It was just behind hole 15 at Gatewood for the hardest par 4 in the area. Now it’s just a a standard par 3.

@@zharry1 at low speed it’s got some beef, but it will for sure turn if you torque it
I wish you’d get the feet, at least the front foot forward. You have to compensate your follow through because your back foot naturally wants go into the other foot, and almost opposite side of follow through. I don’t normally do this, but you have a lot of good mechanics already, and I want to see you at the potential you have. Forehand should remain a forward facing throw!
@@andyf4152 I know what you’re saying, but I have a plate in my hip and can’t turn it forward without opening my hip which would cause a huge power loss.

I’ve got a couple, did a review on it last summer! I like it a little more for backhand than forehand, normal play here is the Justice.
So when you miss you have to go into the spooky cave and fight the cave demons for your disc?
It’s not really a cave, it goes in like 4 feet and then just hard rock wall
@@joshdoe7288 yes, it goes into the depths of the mountain and is home to many vicious dwarves and goblins. lol it only goes back about 10ft behind the basket
Line is way too wide for an Anny forehand, or that disc isn't flippy enough. Something very slightly more understable, or bring that line over left a good ten feet, and you'll bang that. Height and distance are there.

You are right, I usually try to match the disc color with the text but the grey is hard to read.

Interesting angle. 98% of player are going to shoot that from left to right.
@@IanPhilmore that is usually more my play as well but that disc isn’t very stable, and landing on the left side there is unforgiving

I can say with a 100 percent honesty the crave is one of my favorite discs. But the 2 I have, I don't really want to throw at certain courses because ones the PDGA one that's jet black with the somewhat colorful stamp, and the other one is my glow with the monster truck hearse stamp
It is a great disc and the more I throw it the more impressed with it I am!

I'm not a huge fan of the glitch either. I like the hex and crave. I used to like the aviar, but my wizard has become my go-to putter, and I've done very well with it and my titanium zone has always been my utility disc
@@chrisedmondson4838 it’s funny, beyond the Envy I don’t bag any of these but did enjoy using all of them…except the Glitch.
I have a few envys but my buzzz is my go to go to mid range if you actually looked at everything I got I could leave you scratching your head

Tried zone and harp from this list, i prefer tempo now though.
I like the zone it's been a great approach disc for me, and since my forehand is still garbage cause I haven't had time to work on it, it's very forgiving
Idk why. At times id have to turn up my volume as I couldn't hear you. Then randomly my speakers were gonna blow because it was so loud

Nice throw but I personally wouldn't consider that a double mando. That's a single Mando through a gap. For it to be a double Mando you would have to have a Mando and then a second mando requiring such a throw as a s-turn or flex shot. So you're shot would start out in a Annie flexing back and finishing around the second Mando with the Heiser. But maybe we played a little different down here in Texas. We also play all holes par 3 , unless we're playing in a tournament. But again either way still a nice shot.

Most MVP discs are shallower than other brands. Shallower discs usually have a better feel.

@mattwhitediscgolf I've never thrown a pixel. One reason I haven't really bought it is that I'm always up for trying new discs, but I like used section specials first, or if my buddies have or something, and I enjoy your videos it give another opinion on certain discs and it shows some courses I might check out while on the road

I am trying! The app I’m using shows them as level on the raw and when it’s compressed it’s wildly off. I just got a new mic and I’m hoping it helps.
