He's a great dancer, and the music was very good. It was consistent in its rhythm and seemed to make it easy for the dancer to stay in rhythm.

I love how each part of Appalachia, and those that came from there and settled out, have a slightly different style.
I guess in a broader sense, those who came from the UK and even other western European areas and kept their roots intact (rural communities generally)

They're related, the Scotts-Irish brought clogging to Appalachia, and it became Flat Footing.
