Since 1924, the Herald & Weekly Times has given artistic support and financial encouragement to many generations of emerging classical singers through the sponsorship of the Herald Sun Aria. The Herald Sun Aria is Australia’s longest-running competition for classical singers, with the finalists competing for both cash and scholarship prizes.
