I've got to say, this service looks pretty cool from first impressions. I plan on purchasing very soon, just waiting to get caught up with existing work and things. I find it appealing how they thought to charge a reasonable price and not play the stupid games other sign service companies do. For example: only allotting a ridiculously low amount of monthly credits (half of which can be used up just on a single potential customer who requests multiple changes to an uploaded contract prior to signing), not including necessary features in the cheaper plan options (no branding, etc) and so on. So yeah, a freelancer like myself only has a need for around 2-5 proposals each month. Though since it's impossible to really predict an exact number, I've been forced into having to pay $30 a month just because of the off chance I may have to use more than 5. And often times I'd end up using 2 or 3 of my credits up on just a single potential customer who'd request repeated edits be made to the contract. This of course would end up using up half of my monthly credits! Not to mention the misleading and confusing lingo Adobe Sign used in the features list, making it very difficult to know exactly what features are actually included in their base plan (especially since the demo period includes the full set of features). Another service I tried (can't remember which one) was a complete buggy mess and completely unusable. I ended up having to file a dispute with Paypal to get my money back because weeks and a dozen attempts to contact the company resulted in not a single damn reply. How on earth the company was even allowed to remain in business with non existing service and an unusable product is beyond me. Anyway, I just wanted to thank whoever created Prospero and decided not to charge an arm and a leg. It's hard to say off of first impressions from watching the short demo video how good this product is, but if it works, the templates are customizable and the signature process isn't a time consuming mess, I'll be happy.
