Does anyone know what the tool is at 3:27 …? It looks like a tool to hold sandpaper for sanding small flat and curved areas. And I have many types of sandpaper related tools but I’ve never seen one of those. A brand or even the proper name of it would be super appreciated.
It appears to be a piece of bar stock with half of the circumference milled off. A slot at the end to tuck the paper into & hand tension used on the tag end to keep the sandpaper taught. I would assume that it was created by a tool & die maker for that specific purpose.
"sandpaper file" or "sandpaper stick" seems to yield some search hits and products (e.g. Extron)
@@hardwareful Thanks! There's a knockoff version of the Extron sandpaper file on Amazon, I just ordered it... that's the closest thing I've seen so far, I really appreciate the info. 🙂👍
