Gail Kubik: Sonatina for Violin & Piano (1944)
The American composer, Gail Kubik (1914-1984) wrote music for the concert hall as well as for film and television. His Sonatina for Violin & Piano was recorded at the same time (1963) as the other works contained on the Contemporary album of his chamber music. However, it was never released due to space limitations. Here is a performance with Eudice Shapiro, violin and Ingolf Dahl, piano from the composer's tape copy.
