Based off of your location, you guys were VERY close to the tornado. One of the more scarier POV's of this devious twister.

That tornado hit when I was in the hallway at school in Ardmore 6 miles north. It killed 3 of my mothers first grade students in Tanner

This is what the 1925 Tristate most of exactly been like but even bigger. The survivors described ominous sky with different colors of green and dark clouds and day turned into night. 0:47 It was huge mass stretching across the horizon and they didn’t know it was a tornado until it was right on top of them roaring.
You can hear it coming towards you this twister is very large and dangerous seek shelter now
I was living in southeast Missouri when this very large tornado happened in 2011

Yet we wouldn't have gotten to see what they saw, had they not been out there filming. They could have gone inside immediately, but had they sustained a direct hit from an F-5, a lot of prisoners and guards could have died, regardless of them seeking shelter indoors.

I was working in between Muscle Schoals and Russellville that day. I'm originally from Minnesota and tornadoes like this are rare but could still happen. My crew just stayed in the AT&T shelter at the base of the tower that day. Those are nuke bomb proof so I think we were safe. Tornado passed not too far away. We ended up helping the emergency crews getting communications and power back up for 2 months after that. I couldn't believe the trail of destruction. God Bless.

Super cell, with big hail. Turquoise equals ice, and heavy rain. Rotation in the wall cloud is a precursor to a tornado. That tornado was designed to rip your arms and legs off your body! U would not be identified!
