Well, at least it wasn't adventure times the lich (context: basically pretty much the only reason finn even wins at all against the lich is because he is the physical embodiment of good whilst the lich is the physical embodiment of evil, even then finn has actually lost through multiple worlds to the lich and even prime finn had to lock away any and all battles against the lich in the "vault" and the lich was one of if not his biggest fear, let me remind you finn had seen people explode, be erased from existence, has seen and walked through the nightmare realm which is just pg hell, has battle countless horrifying creatures amd killed them as well, and he got over his fear of the ocean and yet the lich is still the one thing he truly fears, also the lich will probably just kill them with his death breath or something and even if they win? He's still coming back. He is the inevitably made manifest. He is the end, He will win no matter if takes a year, a couple years, a 100 years, millions of years it doesnt matter cause he will win he cannot be truly stopped hell even sweet pea is basically just a giant ticking time bomb emphasis on giant because we later see him grow to be bigger then fucking moutains thats a big ass lich and a big ass problem to boot)
