You can just hold the water pulley with your hands and use an electric impact driver with a 10mm socket to remove the bolts.

On colder days it does take a little bit longer to warm up. I give it about 10-15 minutes to warm up. Then, I just drive it a little easy for a bit before I start giving it some gas. I do live in Florida so it's not the coldest state in the winter lol.

It depends how you look at it, but I definitely understand. You do get more top end but your low end does suffer a bit. I do notice the power gain on top end when I drive it. It's not a whole lot, but it's definitely there.

I was in the process of getting it tuned. Unfortunately, my oil pump just went out shredding the entire engine. When I get it rebuilt again, I'll make sure to update everyone on what I got done.

Yes, I have thought about it. If I do it will definitely end up getting an RX-7 Engine at some point.

@@overduealarm1977 Yes, the starter was tired. I ended up ordering a new one. We dove deeper into the issue as well and found out the oil pump failed. I just made a video talking about it. Sucks too, it was such a strong engine.

Sorry just saw this. As of right now I’m still in stock settings on the Ecu. I am planning on getting VersaTuner to help improve performance and get more out of my Bridgeport. I rebuilt the engine myself with a local shop. We took the irons and ported them to give the car the Bridgeport and top end power. My RX-8 is a 6-speed 6-port automatic. Which is a bit different from the 2004-2005 4 port automatics.

I purchased the car already painted like this. The previous owner didn’t prep it properly so there is little to no primer for the paint to stick onto. Unfortunately the whole car was done like this and will need a respray at some point. When I have the extra money I would like to have it professionally painted the same colors. For now I’m just enjoying working on the car and keeping her running strong.
