Paraguay and fertilizer

The use of fertilizer in Paraguay is a big topic. It's also a sensitive topic as it affects the yield of farming activities and, thus, income. Many folks moving to Paraguay do not consider this variable, and they potentially should. Some areas, like the East part of Southern Paraguay, are heavily fertilized to reach 4 harvests per year. This use of chemicals impacts folks living nearby fields. ...

A surreal walk near Isla Paraiso and Isla Bonita. Surreal as you are surrounded by hundreds of meters of sand. Coming from North of France it reminds me of Quend Plage, a beach so large that you will only see sand all around you at some point. Isla Bonita was a great experience and definitely a place to come back to. Crystal clear water, silence, fish, great sand. What else could we be asking for?

Now explain to me what can happen if you simply buy a piece of land, especially if you look at it beforehand and automatically have a title, as is the case in El Paraiso and is problematic. What is the scam here, what risk is there? El Paraíso Verde is not an earthquake zone, there will be no war here like in Syria or Lebanon, so where is the problem?
If you want to understand the risk related to a financial commitment to a community, no matter its name, please go to Peoplelyzer.org and read the section related to Moving to a community. It's all explained here. Anyone is free to do their research based on the information available. Enjoy your day Puppele and do let me know if anything is still unclear.

El Paraíso Verde is still existing for 8 years, and stupud people are murmering of "scam"? Hello????
You are mentiining again the El Paraiso Verde and combining it to scam. Why are you doing it? It's a shame that you only joined RUclips 3 months ago and you're giving a video with false information. You haven't done proper research. When you talk about something you don't know, you have to see it, on site, and talk to people who live there, see it for yourself. Instead, you're spreading false claims based on hearsay. You're repeating what others are saying and what you detest in Europe and that's why you're gone, namely disinformation. Why are you making such a mistake? My family and I have been living permanently in El Paraiso Verde for 4 years and 3 months, happy, content. We've had a plot of land with a title for a long time, built 2 houses, and laid out a garden. Visit us, see it for yourself and talk to us personally, NOT ABOUT US! Where is your fairness?
We have been living happily with our family in El Paraiso Verde since 2021, and we are very happy every day in this protected settlement area! ❤️ Even back then, there were a few nasty agitators who were paid by the competition to speak and write badly about El Paraiso Verde. We didn't let this influence us - and we are very happy about that. Our daughter plays with different children every day - and always with her favourite Paraguayan friend. She is already going to school. She can move freely and safely around the 16 square kilometres of the settlement. We live happily here in this professionally guarded and protected settlement area with our friends and so many warm-hearted settlers of El Paraiso Verde. We love to go swimming in the almost always marvellous sunny weather - and we can do that here in one of the many wonderful bathing lakes in pleasantly warm water almost ten months of the year. We also go into the jungle several times a week - and it is always an adventure for my daughter to discover the exotic animals up close. Our daughter is also very happy here on horseback, and on our tours by motorbike or bicycle through El Paraiso Verde we are amazed by the different animals and wild bird species in the nature reserve. We have also had our titles for our properties for a few months now. Fortunately, we had bought another plot next door, as there will soon be no more plots available in the immediate vicinity of the jungle. We are now having Reljuv build us a house right next to a wide river and with a view of the jungle, very close to a large lake that we can go to by boat or swimming every day. As a pleasant wind blows here almost every day, we will soon be windsurfing on the large lake. For the few cooler and rare cold days, we look forward to our sauna and our open fire. We are happy and grateful that we and our family have become a living part of Dr Erwin and Sylvia Annau's brilliant vision in this magnificent settlement project. We enjoy every wonderful day here. ☀️❤️🌴
Thanks for taking the time to write a detailed comment. It should help People to understand the set-up. I would love to meet and better understand EPV. I agree that the context of the children is important but it's not the only information one should decide on invest upon. Things like property rights, fees, governance model, daily interactions, religious or political aspects matter a lot as well. Also, i always advise People to be cautious about any investment in a community. Feel free to read my guide on Peoplelyzer.org: www.peoplelyzer.org/move-somewhere-else-moving-to-a-community
We❤️El Paraiso Verde ☀️🌴❤️ We have been living with our family in El Paraiso Verde in Paraguay for several years. It is wonderful. We live in a warm community - together with people from all over the world. I can only recommend this place to every family for the future of their children. It has everything you need and in the coming demise of North America and especially Europe in the next few decades, it is the best place for the future of your children. I don't want to forget to also point out the professional smear campaign against El Paraiso Verde in mainstream media and social media, which is funded by some real estate agents, immigration helpers and even a large real estate corporation. As anti-vaccination activists from all over the world have gathered in El Paraiso Verde, it is not surprising that the mainstream media of countries with NATO, WHO, UN, etc. oriented governments are spreading nasty lies and rumors about El Paraiso Verde. We are very glad that we have not allowed ourselves to be influenced by this agitation against El Paraiso Verde and have found our way to happiness. We live happily here - every glorious day at El Paraiso Verde. ❤️
Hi Abgedreht. Thanks for your message. I am really glad that you live happily. Based on my experience across dozens of communities i take this type of comment with a grain of salt. I have seen so many statements like the one above only to find out that they are false. I am not saying yours is. I have seen many communities where some folks are seeking to attract financial investment and would say anything positive about their community. In that regards, as an inhabitant of EPV, can you explain to us what do you see that get you to say that El Paraiso Verde is a warm community?
We are living in El Paraiso Verde for five years now. We created our own small paradise in the big El Paraiso Verde. This Gated Community exists for 8 years now and is no scam. We have titles for our properties. You are able to buy a piece of land or just rent to learn more about this project. I made a few videos and I will make a new one with the many new houses built in this year.
❤️
Hi Sebastian, i am hearing conflicting viewpoints on EPV. The best would be to meet before i allow you to unilaterally promote, with the help of some of your connections (as the same folks post/like on 2 videos) EPV under my videos. Please reach out to me so that we can discuss. I would be more than happy to support the project if it is safe to invest in. Don't be surprised by my approach, i have seen numerous scams. i prefer to be cautious. When it's too good to be true, it's likely a scam. The last thing i want is family to get into troubles.
@@ParaguaytranquiloO I don't want to promote anything. It's just a response because you talked about El Paraiso Verde and this is our homeland since five years. There is no scam because you can buy a piece of land and get the title. You are also able to rent a house or appartement. Where is this a scam? How could a project like that be a scam? It's not possible and you don't know it but you talk about it to get some views and now you also get the response directly from some settlers there. I think this is normal, isn't it? You don't have to support this project but please don't lie and talk about scam if it's not true. Have a nice day and welcome to Paraguay.
@@SebastianZehner My view is built on feedback from People. You have your view. It's fine. We don't have to agree or force our opinion on People. I don't make videos to get some views. i make videos to inform folks so that they take informed decisions, no matter where they move in the world. If you are not happy with this please do not waste your time posting under my RUclips channel.
@ParaguaytranquiloO So, that was my feedback. Thank you and have a nice day 😍🙏

100 %
Hi, i did not talk about fraud. i talked about scam and i have not said in this video that EPV was a scam. My goal is to remain factual. i have looked at multiple communities worldwide and the strategy of scamming People is often the same. Let me explain to you how this works if you are unfamiliar with the process. An initial person or couple purchase a large piece of land. Then this person plan to resell the land in chunks at a massive profit. For example, if the land was purchased for 1 million USD, the resell would make, for example, 15 millions USD. To resell the land at this price, the idea of a safe community is advertized. The owner plays with People' s emotions, especially safety in a context of fear. He also plays on FOMO (fear of missing out). After a few months, some folks start to buy lotes / pieces of land and, after living there for some time, realize that the reality is not what was advertised. However, they are often pressured by a strong top-down governance model where they are asked to stay quiet. I have seen communities where members are threatened. They are also told that they would get what they want IF more People join in (invest). Again, i have studied communities for years and i know what i am talking about. i have seen this set-up multiple times. Some of these communities are even run by well-connected People. You also realize that the owners aren't stupid and surround themselves with legal professionals who are in for the money as they benefit from each sale. I am not saying EPV has this set-up, not at all. I am only listening to folks who have lived here. it may be that your experience is great but your experience only is not enough for People to decide to invest massive amount of money into a project. Also, a remark, please be careful about the way your word your comment. It does look like a threat.
@@ParaguaytranquiloOI see it in a different manner. You said El Paraiso Verde and in your whole statement and in the title you combine scam with communities AND mentiining El Paraiso Verde. This is the fault and not fair at all!
@@puppele7302 i understand your viewpoint. it's the way you read it. People who move to Paraguay are educated enough to understand what i say in the video. It seems that some folks are satisfied and some folks are dissatisfied with EPV. Same as some folks would be satisfied or dissatisfied with the ice cream they purchase at the store. Anyone can post a review on the ice cream store. We have to value the diversity of perspectives, right? My last position on this topic is... whoever want to invest in a piece of a community should be careful. Do you think we can agree on this?

You also said the name but you don't know us. It's allways the same and all complaints were dismissed. We have titles and you can buy a property or just rent. There is no scam.

Sebastian, i hear you and thanks for expressing your view. My input is based on friends and connections who lived in El Paraiso Verde. Some were renting, some purchased. You can contact me at @julienpeoplelyzer on Telegram or let me know how to contact you.
@@ParaguaytranquiloOThank you, this was my response to your comments in the video. However, you did two or more videos with El Paraiso Verde in it. I don't know why but it's fine when I may to share my experience with one personal comment. I understand that you don't like communities and you're right. It's not for everyone. That was enough from my side. I wish you success and a peaceful life in Paraguay. I like it. See you ❤
@@SebastianZehner To my knowledge, only one video mention EPV. Let me know if this isn't the case. It's not about liking or not liking communities. The concept of People coming together to support each other resonates with me. To execute this concept, a format is the "community" where People will come together to live in proximity. People should align on desired outcomes. Unformately, often, the common denominators are fear and the search of a paradise (that does not exist). 40 years ago, villages used to be communities. Unfortunately, we have been sold a lifestyle that has destroyed this concept of community. The more you separate People, the easier they are to control. It took me some time but i start to see clearly what is working and what is not working in terms of communities and most importantly, why.

Hi Tranquilo and thank you for all your informative videos. I have been enjoying them and simultaneously noting important aspects to be aware of. Which actual countries have, or will be instigating new leaving taxes? I have oly found some taxes for the very wealthy? I have been told that iIt is a standard part of tax law, in many countries, for many years, that there is a potential tax on moving out of a country, and taking assets with you, that you have recently made a profit on. It's nothing new or unusual and does not constitute govts. attempting to stop people from leaving their countries for 'safe havens'. Who does this currently affect?
Hi Liz, you are correct. There are regulations in place that may tax your assets as you exit the country. I have in mind a few rules planned (Netherlands, France, Canada, ...) regarding taxation if you live but i need to check them. Overall, one can witness a trend to prevent Western folks from leaving the West. It's done through several actions: getting you scared (problem of safety in country A, B, ...), dragging on administrative processes or changing them (apostilles is a great example), taxation when leaving, making it harder for you to sell your property (France is a great example), ...
People in europe say they live so closely tegether due to lack of space. Yet it must be human nature when we see the same thing where land is plentiful and affordale. Another good video.
Yes, it's human nature to come together. We are wired to live as a group and a long long time ago, being alone often meant that you were going to die. Now, for Paraguay, you see population being concentrated in some area. The Greater Asuncion area has something like a million and a half People (as per stats). The rest of the population is spread across dozens of cities and towns. There are also hundreds of tiny villages and you find People living in the country side, in the middle of nowhere. They often keep the land. In Paraguay, most of the land is owned by a small part of the People and thus this also drive where People will settle and live. If this is not your land, you won't live there usually.
@ParaguaytranquiloO i have seen some news reports about indigenous people fighting for land...some big protest in Asuncion...seems not so successful for them though?...it is difficult to find more factual info in that regard. Also news on poverty and landless people in Paraguay . As u know the ownership of land is a problem in many countries. Chile, Brazil and Argentina all have some issues. Maybe the mixing of the locals with whites in the past will help somewhat?
@@terrybaikie2181 Land inequality in Paraguay is high. In under countries under developed or in development, the government often works for the wealthy and wealthy folks tend to despise poor folks. I felt this in India and i do feel this here. In this context, poor folks struggle. A lot of white folks arriving here don't want to mix with local folks. This is the reality. Many white folks are happy to take advantage of the country but not to help. There is a opportunity to create more synergies between Western newcomers and local folks. I should make a video on this topic as it's an important topic. Thanks for raising it.
@@ParaguaytranquiloO It's certainly nice to hear your thoughts. Such a video will be interesting indeed. If the locals are welcoming of immigrants it would be advantageous for everyone.
@@terrybaikie2181 Paraguayans have always been welcoming to immigrants given the history of the country, having received many immigrants over the centuries. Presently about 40% of the population is white. Many second and third-generation Germans, Italians, Russians, etc., don't speak the language anymore, just Spanish. The exception are the Mennonites, settled in the Chaco region. They speak Plattdeutsch (low German). And Spanish, of course. As stated above, there are deep socio-economic class differences among the well-to-do, and the poor population. And as usual, the poor tend to lose out. At this time, there are no more than 30,000 pure indigenous Indians in the country. Native aborigines as we know have been abused in the new world (The Americas) over the centuries, North (the US) and South (Latin America),
Then, do you think it's safe to swim in Rio Parana, in Encarcion or Carmen del Parana ? Did you read something about that ?
At this point in time, i don't know. If anyone knows, feel free to share.
TOP!!!
Thanks!
Beautiful. Such neat farms.
The city looks better structured and organized than classic Paraguayan towns. I did not see trashes in nature (although i did not extensively drive in the town). You do see a lot of Germans and knowing about their mindset you understand why the city appears as it does.
All south america countries are GMO mono agricultural based including paraguay, brazil and argentina however is still better than usa. Peru still has the safest food due to the small agricultural lands and farms surrounded by the mountains
Very useful comment! Thanks Abdel.

Very pretty. Could the whole area become water logged? Do you offer advice on larger farms or land to farm for sale?

Personally, I would like to see the take off and landings. It would add a little more to the video imo.
Thanks for sharing your view. I was thinking that take-off and landing are boring part (for most People) so i did not include them in. The drone videos are about the landscape & cities but not about the drone. What matters is that People can see the land from above. Cheers
How fast do you think your drone is flying?
The drone can fly up to 70 km per hour. It's not that fast compared to fpv drones that can reach 150 km per hour quite easily.

I would call my intended community co-creating. With like minded kindred spirits. Also like Kin's Domains in some respects, which I also had experience of working alongside the pioneers. However, for me I think that it is important to have a serious common aim, to be totally in alignment. Tradition is important IMO, and common principles also essential to cohere and reach the common goals of serious work on self/inner development. Not for most, but mine is an intentonal community incorporating living/continued research in Truth/Objective Reality. x
I'd love to hear more about your plan! I am sure we can find folks who will resonate with this project.
Thank you. You have just confirmed my choice of living environment was correct lol
Perfect! That is exactly the outcome my videos seek: you being well aware of what you are moving to so that the likelihood of misfit is reduced. Thanks for the feedback!
Spot on! Don't forget the immenent ice age on the northern hemesphere. Global environmental events than will now be escalating big time. x
I have always chosen to live with locals wherever I have lived. What is the point of moving to a country if you mainly isolate and not integrate? It is a bit akin to ghettos. My genuine mission IS to created a self sufficiency community living lightly on the land, conserving rather than destroying. Supportng rather than exploiting. Service to Others not Service to Self. Staying authentic yet energy-wise very savvy! To grow evolutionarily there is no free lunch. For those who think there is - they are the lunch! 🙂
Well said! The video on communities of foreigners may be useful to you and anyone researching communities in Paraguay. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/tYrpZ3NEifg/видео.html. More content on this topic is coming as i progressed my research over the past few days.
Thank you for your objective insights. Also your very helpful tours or the areas I am actually interested in. I doon't doubt your observations as you seem to be quite situationally aware - locally and globally. Knowledge Protects. I will watch all your videos and look forward to your reports. I am defo planning a familiarization visit for early next year, so will keep in touch. Your fire observations are also a vital help. Thanks for that. Keep up the fantastic reports, they are much appreciated and very honest. Much gratitude x
Thanks Lizashley! I appreciate you took the time to write this feedback. More great videos are coming in shortly. I do hope they will help you to make the best decision for yourself and your family.
☝️👍👍👍🤝
WTF is he talking about? Does anyone undetstand what this bald 60 yrs old said?
Good video! But why Paraguay over Argentina or Chile?
We would need a good hour to discuss this topic and many videos in RUclips try to address this question. I would say that, based on the variables i was considering, Paraguay scored higher than Argentina and Chile. Now, i do think that a Paraguay / Argentina strategy where you spend some months a year in Argentina could actually be a great strategy. One of the folks in my network spend a few months a year in Mendoza to avoid the hottest months. What do you think?
Dear Tranquilo, your videos are nice, and I enjoy them. I am however, intrigued and surprised that being a Frenchman, you choose to do your videos in English; merci,
Good point. Well, i left France in my early twenties. Sometimes i even search my words in French so if i were to do my videos in French People may wonder why can't this guy speak French properly. It's also a question of audience. I can reach out to much more folks by using English.
@@ParaguaytranquiloO Good; thank you,
@@jgonz260Do you speak French as well? Cheers
@@ParaguaytranquiloO No, not really, just Spanish, English, a little Portuguese, and I pretend to know a little bit of Italian,
@@jgonz260 That's already a great achievement! Enjoy your day ;)
There are "unofficial" communities like in Colonia Independencia, the area near Encarnacion called Colonias Unidas, and other private-sponsored mini-communities. You need the right contacts to find out more about these areas. In Paraguay, more than anywhere else, the right contacts and relationships are essential to get things done right,
Thanks for this useful piece of information. I do hope the video helps foks to move in the right direction. The more mini-communities are created, the more we actually create a network of folks who support each others.
Good info ,I met you in the lift earlier in paseo de Galeria 🤙
Yes! And my apology for not spending more time with you guys. It's funny. We did not exchange contact information. I arrived home and thought, "What a moron!" i should have asked them for their contact information, and here you go. I read your message now. Let's catch up when you guys have time. We are close to opening a club for Cantonese speakers! I let you find me on Telegram (@JulienPeoplelyzer) or on Facebook in the Paraguay Expat group.
😎
Julien, A family from New Zealand has a channel called "A Dirt Cheap Life in Paraguay" in a recent video the father highlighted a permaculture farm in Caacupe operated by a Swiss woman. Permaculture people tend to think outside the box and might be able to point you toward the like-minded communities that you're searching for in Paraguay...
Thanks! I know Adam and Brenda. Unfortunately we, as well as friends, had sour experiences with them. It all started well but it went wrong. I would just say that some folks put money before People. Maybe i will meet the Swiss lady through another path. Laws of attraction tend to work quite well in Paraguay! Also, an advice i received from a very good friend... "make friends slowly". Thanks again and i hope to meet you at some point.
@@ParaguaytranquiloO I have been researching them for a while and it seem a little off on many levels with horror stories off people who havebeen froen out of the community for some reason. and they seem to not accept LGBT which I am not but I have friends who are and would not feel comffortabe living in a gated comuity that exclude people in this absurd manner.
@@NorskInjustisby "them", are you talking about the permaculture farm? I don't know this farm, that's why i am asking.
Can we see you in PY on the 22 or 23 november? Please give us your contact information. Kindly. Marie.
Should be doable! Always happy to meet new human beings!
