Totally agree with some of the other comments. Wednesday 13 is massively underrated. Been to two of his shows now and they were both a blast. All of his albums across various bands are great.

Its great hearing about Joey and how things came to be. I'm sure when Joey said to Wednesday '' I want you to be the singer'' It was actually Joey's mum, Jackie, who suggested Wednesday, when they were at Joey's house. What a band they were.

Great chat! Wednesday is one of my favourite artists. I really apreciate the way he mixes horror stuff and acid humor in his lyrics. And nice to know he likes that much his cover of "Animal", from WASP. I can't even listen to the original song after I've listened to his version.

It's really cool that you're spotlighting indie creators. It's so hard for the really cool stuff to float to the surface. I can definitely relate to the fight to control and not over control artistically. I was just thinking about how self expression and mechanical correctness are always at odds with each other and it's a real balancing act to get something that looks traditionally "good" and still expresses what I had in my head.
