Donald Davis is a National Treasure. He use to come to my Jr. High School in Rockingham N.C. when I was young. I have his books and live in the N.C. mountains now. His stories really touched my life. An amazing story teller.

An hour and 37 minutes? Really Pop? Always the consummate story teller. The bottom line, tho? Thanks so much for being a wonderful, one-of-a kind father and person. How you managed to be a lighthearted funny imp at the same time you had such a wide deep soul, I will never know. I learned so much from you, had so much fun with you in my life and miss you terribly. I try to model my ethics, behavior, open-mindedness, faith, kindness - the adjectives are endless - on what I learned watching you. I will always feel it a great honor to be your daughter. Pax vobis.
