Off topic: In order for a U-joint to work properly the pinion shaft and the transfer case output shaft MUST be parallel. Otherwise they can cause vibration and premature wear in the joint.If you are pointing the pinion at the transfer case you got it wrong. ruclips.net/video/YgNZfIR-8Ng/видео.html

Have you changed your diff oil.? How does that locker wear since its metal on metal?

Any problems with shavings in the diff oil? I read that somewhere and it made me think twice.

Great video. I moved to South Dakota from the Sierra's in California right at the foot of the Rubicon. This is happening everywhere. It is sad how fast they are closing trails, they do it for any reason they can. Lets not give them an excuse and fight to keep the trails open

Also, many thx to IRO for being the Major (I think) Sponsor of the event. 1 - Agreed, online registration worked flawlessly for us (participants). 2 - We stayed at "Wild Bills" and had the grove mainly to ourselves. As an introvert, this was perfect :) 3 - If I remember, on upper Jake, only 1 from our group made it w/0 winching. I didn't feel so bad... 4 - Favorite memory...hmmm, from a wheeling standpoint I would have to say Upper Jake. Reason being I was running on 35's and a 2" lift. Even though I had to winch and had a small bit of body damage, I felt good because it was definitely a bit more than I should have been on. Non-wheeling I would say all the knowledge and History about the area. OH, and the beauty of the BH!!! 5 - All 3 of you are correct, the "community" of JP'rs are awesome people! 6 - Thx for the JP love. She is a 2021 Snazzberry JLURD and running 4-door safari style is my favorite look :)
