Such a beautiful dog, hang in there, as there's an angel up there counting on you & his name is Darcy. That's why I don't even talk to people about my loss, as it swiftly turns into a 10 minute conversation with pics n all, of all the dogs they've lost. Its terrible that a “therapist” done that though. She's clearly in the wrong job. Sounds like Darcy was worth 10 of her. Thanks for sharing your journey. I think every pet owner can agree that dogs are better than most people in this day & age. ❤
Thank you for your kind words. Pet loss grief should be acknowledged like any other type of grief. Darcy was so special and he really was beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
You never truly get over a dog but another dog can help you with the grieving and let your heart experience love again, volunteering at a rescue is a good idea, as most of us are not ready to get another dog for some time. There’s no bond purer than the unconditional love that a dog can give. Xx

So do you clean on the weekends? Also those tacos look good and I don’t even like tofu.
I keep up with kitchen every day. I change the towels and bedsheets on Sunday. Sometimes I’ll use Sunday for a deep cleaning task that needs to be done. Otherwise no cleaning on the weekends.

@@EverydaylifewithCarmen if we don't, who will? I think my partner only somewhat understands how much work goes into maintaining the house but having time to relax seems like a 9pm thing at best and even that is choosing to ignore the list of stuff still left to do.
For real! I clean a little every evening so I don’t spend the weekend marathon cleaning. 😂
