I don't think he's underrated because his performance is inconsistent. He has improved significantly defensively, but after the All star break and his home run derby appearance he didn't have the best second half of his season. He's inconsistent but definitely room for improvement

He isn't really good against lefties at all and I think that was the reason he didn't play every day. I agree with you tho. how are you gonna do well if you aren't given the opportunity

Topper needs to realize that and let the kid be great and stop holding him back. I call him the second coming of Chase Utley. My brother in law said he is let him be better than chase that's going to be hard but stott has it in him. Just let him play. Not to much longer and the sound of baseball ⚾ will be here. I sit in the same spot if whoever the Philadelphia sports team that is playing. they win I stay in that spot until they lost. then I do something different move to the other side of the couch. I have been doing this since the 80s. it seems like it isn't working most of the time. but I can't afford to go to sports games anymore. so I need to find a way to do my part to the team and my home city. ITS A PHILLY THING. I know its nuts but I enjoy myself win or lose. I was born and raised in North Philly 1959. walked to Connie mack stadium with my dad and brothers. living in cape may new jersey now. and win or lose am going to be a crazy Philadelphia sports fan. I was born and raised in North Philly walked to Connie mack stadium with my dad and brothers. I took a lot of abuse from my family and friends when the Phillies were really really bad. cause I was always saying they are going to be good they are going to win. anywho I am a 65 year old man I will be 66 June 1st. I have never forgotten off the bandwagon I never will. same with the flyers and eagles. a Philadelphia sports fan until I die. if possible after I die ha ha that would be cool. really helping our teams win. ha ha ha ha

No we had him for 2024 season but we did get him after he played for the braves in the 2023 season

Right now he doesn’t deserve to be the every day cf but I hope he turns it around. I don’t think Dickerson could play cf though. I think he was/is exactly like David Dahl now. Then if we had the DH in 19, Bruce would’ve been that and he was underrated as hell. No sense for didi in 2020 in hindsight but you didn’t know kingery was gonna spiral out after getting injured then Covid. But I still want him to play a full season. No sense for kingery, Cesar and segura at the same time

Hes really intricate to the team however injuries happen and the Phillies are still 24 games over 500 without him in the lineup.

If he has a little bit of a better approach at the plate and not swing at the first pitch every time or balls in the dirt, you are right he can be one of the best hitters. He has been playing very well of late, hopefully he can sustain that success
