How to make the most basic wire wrapped frame and secure an oval stone in a teardrop setting.
Learn how to make the most basic frame for a wire wrapped pendant and how to secure an oval stone in a teardrop style setting.
You will need:
1x oval stone approx 1" tall
3x length of 0.8mm/ 20 gauge square wire approx 13-15" long (or the height of your stone plus 6 inches either side)
1x length 0.5mm/ 24 gauge half round approx 8"
2x lengths of 0.5mm/ 24 gauge half round approx 16-18" long
Tools: Flat nose pliers, nylon pliers, flush cutters, bail making pliers.

You will need:
