That didn't stop me from hurting myself 3 times 3 broken bones my right wrist. Was on vaca with my dad I was younger than 10 and we went to see my dads friend with my dad and my twin sister we were bord outside playing and my dad was putting us on this old pole that used to be a clothes line and we were swinging and jumping from it. Well i landed on my right arm and broke my right wrist. Then my dad got mad at me and took me to the hospital and called my mom theu were divorced at that time. The were going to put metal plates in my wrist, but bc I was so young they just popped it back ino place. The second time I also broke my right wrist I was climbing the tree in my front yard and fell out of it as I was climbing bc I was stuck and asked my mom to help me get down and my mom was being a mom and was like you got up there you can get down. That could have saved us the trip to the er but i jumped and instantly broke my right wrist. There were also other kids from my block in our tree too. And I jumped down how they jumped down. The 3rd time I broke my right elbow riding my bike home fromy neighborhood pool woth my friend and my sister I somehow flipped off of the front of my bike. It all happened so fast I flipped off of the front and got the air kocked out of me and stayed down on the ground for a good minute or 2 then I got back up and tried to get onto my bike. My adrenaline running and I rode my bike the mile and a half home trying to catch up to them when I did catch up my elbow was hurting so bad i couldn't straighten it. And I complained to them. My sister was also the one carrying the phones in the pool bag otherwise I would habe called my mom. I got home left my bike outside ran in crying my mom asked why I was crying and then I told her what happened all the while I had a huge cut down my arm and told my mom that my elbow hurt and that I couldn't straighten my arm then we went to the er. I also got a water proof cast with my broken elbow I reacted to it and broke out and had a huge rash inside then had to get it removed and get a new non water proof cast for another week or two. Morel of the stories os that kids get hurt and some while never do wjat they did to injure themselves again and some will learn the hard way.
