The last two times the stock market had a "lost decade," which is pretty much what he is calling for (reference his 2000 through 2009 period, which actually should be through 2012 because the market didn't make a new high until 2013) gold has done extremely well. He mentioned that along with stocks, gold may also peak soon, but gold is not just an inflation hedge, it is a hedge against loss of faith in the financial system, which is what you would get in a 10+ year sideways to lower stock market. Having a long-term view on equities but only a short-term view of gold is seeing only part of the picture. Also, there is no way the government is going to allow a decade-long period of deflation. They absolutely, positively have to inflate to pay the interest on the debt. Stocks can indeed go sideways for a decade, but when they do, gold has a huge bull market.

Where does money go? It goes to money heaven. For you to take a dollar out of the market, someone has to buy your stock (putting money INTO the market).

James, we know you need cash to expand operations but as you say these mines have been around for hundreds of years. Don't dilute shareholders, just rely on rising silver prices to increase cashflow, pay down debt, and then achieve profitability. Then start paying a fat divvy and GSVRF will get the respect it deserves. The silver prices are going to go up very rapidly, perhaps $40 by end of year or early Q1 2025. You can go without dilution until then and you should be telling investors you don't plan to dilute because of the rising price of silver. Build trust!!

If the Fed wanted to lower inflation then they have to address the root cause. And the root cause is the outrageous price of gasoline and diesel which causes everything to increase in price. The oil companies and refineries are gouging, period. The government needs to make an example of one oil company, national it, the other oil companies will crap their pants and lower the fuel cost instantly. If the oil companies don’t lower their prices then the government just orders their newly nationalized oil company to compete against the other oil companies. I don’t think this will happen because the government is in big oils back pocket. Gold and Silver stocks are not performing for a number of reason one being the buyers of gold and silver are mostly India, China and Russia. US, Australia and Europe are net sellers and keeping the dollar based prices down. My algo show big distribution of Gold stocks including the only stock AEM that was even being bought. The forcasted price for aem is 70 dollars by Late March of 2025.

I wonder how much someone like First Majestic can "control their margins". This quarter is a good example... For example, during the quarter, hang on to inventory when prices are slammed and wait for better prices to unload. Here we are at the end of the quarter and silver is $32+. Dump it all into that strength and BOOM your margin for the quarter. Seems like a smart way to "manage" margins as best you can. If you hang on to inventory and silver is down 25% at the end of the quarter, your stock is getting 20-30% haircut regardless of your margin so go ahead and report a bad quarter. Seems like a win win for producers with this strategy.

Nice scenario for metals, but I see it playing out a little different, first of all I think that central banks and countries are waiting for one big event to happen and that would be a worldwide crash in banks and the stock markets where everything goes down in price including gold and silver and I also predict that this events will happen after the next US federal election which is slated for Nov 5/ 2024. I also see Gold hitting a bottom of 1500.00 and silver to go down to 15.00 per oz. When this happens It remains to be seen if bitcoin will succeed. If a central bank of one of the major economies decides to start accumulating bitcoin, then I think that will be a major inflection point...I've engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 24Bitcoin....At the heart of this evolution is Adriana Jensen whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Precious metals investors are so beaten down that they do not believe the current rally. This is their pitfall. They think that a pullback is inevitable but to me it sounds more like just another time they are getting fooled again.
