We love Park Grill. We had our wedding dinner there 5 years ago, Park Grill was fantastic for everyone, they had a table decorated for us and even brought a small wedding cake for us to enjoy after dinner. Wonderful

The best way to view Gatlinburg is as one big state fair. The food is greasy and expensive, the crowds and lines are long, and the sanitation could be iffy, but if you want healthy foods to eat take the drive into the mountains with a picknick basket and enjoy the views and watch out for bears.

I lived in Michigan for 50 years. Up there out in the country, you cant avoid seeing deer on the back roads. Now I live in Oak Ridge and when I go to Cades Cove, I can't help but laugh at the vehicles I see with Michigan plates stopping to gaze at the deer like it's the first time they have ever seen one

Thanks for telling us about 2 we are not familiar with. We love the diner, good breakfast & is somewhat out of the way of the big crowds. Works well on grocery day since it is right by Publix & Kroger☺️.

When driving the loop, if you want to stop and look at something, pull off the road!!! Do not block the road!!!!! It clearly states this rule on a sign at the entrance.

There really are too many choices. On my first visit I passed on all the Ripley's attractions. I loved Anakeesta. On my October trip I'll check out the salt and pepper museum - never heard of it until your video.

We just did a 3 night stay in Gatlinburg last year. We will be going back for a week this year and plan to do more in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.

Gatlinburg downtown (Gatlinburg Inn). Your parking is taken care of. Walk around in evening (or anytime). Good food places for all meals. Good "headquarters" place to stay.

Terrific video. I'm doing research for my October trip and this is helpful. I'm splitting my stay 3 ways: a few days at DreamMore, a few days in Pigeon Forge and a few in Gatlinburg.

Once upon a time I went to WDW at least once a year - often twice. In 2023 I decided to try Dollywood for my vacation. I'm a stagehand so I have a special place in my heart for live shows. I loved the shows. I loved the rides. But mostly I loved the people there - everyone was so nice. Christmas time was spectacular. I'm looking forward to going in October this year.

Not sure how long your channel has existed, I just found it. I have went thru many Smoky Mountain RUclips Channels & so, while you have a lot of competition in that area, I can tell you that you have done better than most; I enjoyed it! Your video was structured very well, with rolling video coupled with a very informative narrative that revealed actual research. And, as it was sectioned, the viewer could scroll to a particular subject of interest if they wanted. Very well done! Much better than many of these “effortless” channels who just walk thru an attraction, with their face taking up half the screen, and mindlessly jabbering about it thinking themselves some kind of celebrity, 🙄. And of your nice piece of work, someone’s only observation is how you pronounced 1 word; REALLY??!! I wish you the best with your RUclips endeavors🙏🏻🫎.

Great info but please, please the word mountain has a “T” in it that really should be pronounced. Every time you said, “mou-ans” I cringed😂

Keep in mind for those unfamiliar, Parsons branch is a 1 way road that's 4x4 and higher clearance vehicles preferably and is unmaintained

I once had to evacuate Savannah , Ga because of a hurricane and ended up in Chattanooga. I knew nothing about the place until i went there but i loved it! Its a beautiful city. The locals are rather hard to understand though. Very heavy southern accents.

I didn't find this place special. It is costly at $25+ drinks? Fried chicken is OK but not at that price. I particularly found the salad bar unappetizing with iceberg lettuce. Overall the food section looked limited.
