We have spotted them down below on some of the steep drop offs, up in the trees and a week ago we had a male walk across the road in front of us just past the Ogle place. Early morning before it gets too busy gives us the best luck.

For those of us who just want to virtually take in this place we love, with as much useful information & fun facts available, your channel is a great option. I hope your channel grows to wherever you would like it to be🙏🏻. The # of Smoky Mountain RUclipsrs seems to be growing rapidly?! Some of them, to my eye, just want to exploit this wonderful place. They try & make little celebrities out of themselves by having their face in the camera much of the time. And then, some of them absolutely tarnish the integrity & image of The Smokies, exploiting the many good hearted tourists to pay for their lazy life on perpetual vacation!! We learned some hard lessons with the likes of them; that is why we are here☺️!! And don’t get me wrong, I think you should earn all the ad revenue your content can bring; & I like your content, much more, how it is done. And FYI, I believe RUclipsrs, unable to film in the park, has been largely debunked by park personnel. That part of park code was mostly used, in ignorance, for big & controversial views??!! Just got back from my first cabin trip in Gatlinburg. First off, the roads leading up to the cabin were unexpected, and scary as f*ck! Not the roads leading in, but up to the cabin. Canceled anything I wanted to do at night for fear of driving back up to the place. Second, the cabin we rented was not as advertised and need serious work, so be careful when booking. Third, the area is nothing more than a tourist trap, so maybe find things to do on the outskirts or something. Bears are a pain in the ass, so don’t leave ANY food in your cars and LOCK the doors, they know how to open them. Very pretty in areas, but just wasn’t my cup of tea, I left nothing behind that I need to return for.

Rather they are feeding them directly from their room balconies, or indirectly from the dumpsters busting at the seams with trash, the bears are coming in to us humans for food!! That is just a reality. Then they allow places like Annakeesta to put the food services up top, in the bears back yard. I understand at least 2 bears have been put down up there & others are walking right thru the crowded streets; only a matter of time before an attack occurs. On his own video, one of the most notable Gatlinburg RUclipsrs, who I will not dignify by mentioning his name, was bluff charged by a bear, behind the apartment he lives in where someone had thrown apples out to feed the bears!! December is a fantastic time to see the city! I have not been to this resort, but maybe one of the other views have and might be able to share? Please let us know about your experience! I’m always looking for new content ideas!!

We love Park Grill. We had our wedding dinner there 5 years ago, Park Grill was fantastic for everyone, they had a table decorated for us and even brought a small wedding cake for us to enjoy after dinner. Wonderful

Being a biker or walker, parking may not be an issue. I’ll use the trolley if need be.

By far the best way to see the city, and with traffic might be quicker to walk or bike! Thanks for sharing!

The best way to view Gatlinburg is as one big state fair. The food is greasy and expensive, the crowds and lines are long, and the sanitation could be iffy, but if you want healthy foods to eat take the drive into the mountains with a picknick basket and enjoy the views and watch out for bears.

I lived in Michigan for 50 years. Up there out in the country, you cant avoid seeing deer on the back roads. Now I live in Oak Ridge and when I go to Cades Cove, I can't help but laugh at the vehicles I see with Michigan plates stopping to gaze at the deer like it's the first time they have ever seen one

OMG! I’m from up north and our insurance is so high because of deer. Yet I’m still stopping and looking. I just think it’s something about being in the Mountains!

@@bearfactsofthesmokeymountains I live near Knoxville, have little woods next to the house, and still see deer almost daily. But I agree, in the mountains you do tend to look at them differently
