How do you get the base icing so smooth? I use the same brand as you and it has air holes when I spread it. I tried using a cake smoother/scraper too and it didn't help. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! 🩷
Also I whipped it with an immersion blender. I also tried adding a little water.
Hi! Could be the weather where I live, it’s a very mild climate. Could be that you’re whipping it too much ? That could lead to air bubbles. I hand whip it lightly just 20-30 times with a spatula. I’ve never tried adding anything to it. Thank you for watching!

I usually let the spackle dry over night before I paint. It takes several hours to completely dry. Thank you for watching!

No. The majority of my cakes on this RUclips channel are fake. They last indefinitely.
So do you do a thin layer with spakle to ice the cake and after it dries, paint. So brilliant!
