Ur work is amazing I have a question and I believe u could help I try to make a faux cake but when my speckle get dry it’s just coming off or looks broken ? Is there anything I need to add in the speckle or where I’m going wrong ??? Help please x
Hello! Yes, I’ve had this problem too when it was too cold in my garage so I believe it’s just a temperature problem. Someone suggested adding flour or cornstarch to thicken it. I have not tried this method yet. Thank you for watching!
I’ve seen some artists add flour to their spackle if it gets too wet from paint. I haven’t tried it yet!

Hello! I just add a lot of paint. Not too much though that it’s runny. I’m looking at the cake right now and it does look charcoal gray to me.
