I wish I saw the comments live 😅. I completely respect Sara's perspective. However, she's being idealistic. I grew up with all sisters, i have female cousins and mostly female family members, and none of them are interested in cars. I looooove to see women who are into cars. I call Collette Davis, "my sister from another mister." however its not farfetched to say more men are into cars than women. Some girls dont care to wrench on cars they WANT TO be the cute promotional model, not because they're forced to because somehow they're good for nothing else. That's not the image we'd like to push.

As a mechanic for the last 16+ years I can tell you I've used chrome sockets many times on an impact. Where. I ran into issues was when I started doing heavy duty diesel work. Chome sockets also deliver less blow to the bolt where impacts are softer and give the full force of the gun to the bolt 🔩. Also I have had chrome sockets crack/split before. And they tend to bounce around because of their hardened nature.

It's not relatable. "I don't like this reason" "Me either!" haha, both of you miss the point. The issue isn't what other race series cars are built to, those are not relatable either. Cars in FD do not resemble the cars that your average person owns or would want to own. The majority of people can relate to lower cost builds. Another big thing is FD has bad style, even you guys know it mentioning Forest and Dustin as the couple saviors. Most people don't try to emulate the look of FD cars, they don't look cool. Find someone that does and they're probably mentally unhinged. I assume you two both would like to see more people interested in FD, for it to be cooler. In my opinion, you could contribute to that by the way things are presented to your audience. You can find the things about FD that people do relate to and lean into them.
