Chris, thank you very much for the advice. I bought a home 5 years ago with turf in the backyard. I have a couple oak trees in the back yard. Last year, I started getting a few weeds and acorns sprouting through the turf, but this year the number exploded. I also have a dog, so I didn't want to use a weedkiller.
You might have mushrooms growing under there (not sure). Vinegar should work, though if you have a mound already, you'll probably need to get in there and remove it versus natural decomposition
Holy crap this video is over 4 yrs old but here I am asking a question…will the Vinegar stain the turf or no???

Hi am I right in presuming this is white vinegar?
yes
I heard add a bit of dish soap to the vinegar and shake helps it to stick to the weed.
To be honest there's a sticky residue in vinegar anyway bud so I would use straight vinegar
Thank you! What is the ratio of water to vinegar?
Thanks so much for sharing
My issue is theres something growing under the grass and is creating a little mound. Will weed killer/chemicals help that?
