People who haven’t been in the presence of God or who haven’t been intimate with Jesus Christ always become legalistic. It’s the natural progression when you start walking in darkness. You will believe in your opinion than the Bible. I urge everyone to repent and become with Jesus Christ. Don’t listen people who haven’t heard from God in a long time.

0:42 - Brown: "Do you take it lightly to bear false witness against a brother and a leader in the body? Do you take it lightly to repeat things that are blatant falsehoods about someone?" No one bore false witness on this issue. This was a damage control interview, where White gave Brown a chance to slander and malign Christians. Shame on them both. Brown and James White were quoting an article from Church Watch Central (CWC) which was republished on Pulpit&Pen. I've read the article on P&P. This article has real substance to their troubling claims. What James White and Brown are doing is inexcusable, slanderous and deceitful. It was slander because Brown accused folk of bearing 'false witness' when both could have googled the references of what Brown said. They didn't. Let me break it down. 2:10 - "It's when Bill Johnson was on his radio show." This is a bold faced lie. I googled that quote. CWC transcribed an entire episode that Brown pulled where Brown was blasting Pastor Anthony Wade, defending Bill Johnson. So he is making out people as liars when he pulled the episode where he confessed this kenosis Christ heresy! This may explain why CWC could not source those quotes. So why would you delete that episode Dr Brown? So it was quite a brilliant and devilish tactic for Brown to trash his critics when they called him out for his heretical views on Jesus. Dr. Brown, you slanderous, mocking and lying tongue against baptist pastors and other God-fearing leaders is disgraceful. Your demonisation and slanderous ministry against Christians is woeful. You speak the native tongue of your real father. Repent of your false gospel (which you can see on his FIRE Church website), false Jesus and false Holy Spirit. Get saved out of the NAR or leave God's church alone.

Heidi is a false prophet, all her sermons are about herself and misconstrued teachings which have nothing to do with the true interpretation of the Bible. Jesus said many will come in my name prophesying, performing miracles but they do not know me. Many will perish for a lack of knowledge and be decieved. True followers of Jesus have laid their lives down for Him, denied themselves, and obey His word. Heidi does not display the fruits of the spirit it is of another spirit. Her testimony alone is a red flag. Read your Bible obey the word and you will discerne the spirits.

The same guy that spends so much time criticizing others, is an advocate of the gnostic deterministic calvinist view that has so many doctrinal errors due to its gross non-contextual interpretation of Scripture that was introduced by Augustine and popularized by Calvin. Here this guy is almost idolizing MacArthur, who is another often incongruous teacher of the quasi-fatalistic view of calvinist sovereignty.

Shame on Dr White for endorsing such a brazen heretic and liar like Dr Michael Brown. Michael Brown blatantly lied on James White's program in this video. James White - get educated. Jesus warns us about predators that come in sheep's clothing - and you just believed Brown lying to you at face value. Brown is not a Christian. An unrepentant predator can be in 'ministry' making a career out of the faith while presenting a sheepskin in word and deed. So the context? Anthony Wade called in and was bullied, slandered, silence and had his character attacked by Brown. When Wade brought up Bill Johnson's kenotic Christ - Brown DEFENDED this heresy and this heretic. So much so that Brown provided a theological defense for the kenotic Christ of Johnson and other's he knows in his own movement. That's what makes the quote so bad. What Brown did was REMOVE THE VIDEO so no one can look at the context any more so he could spin and lie to James White what actually happened. Sorry White - you need to repent and disown this dangerous predator, Michael Brown. He is still tainting your wonderful work in apologetics. Stop having fellowship with this heretic, blasphemer, predator and hireling. You need to redearch Brown more and expose him.

Such a bunch of non Christian teaching. First, he said, "Judge the fruit." Well, the first and best fruit is to preach the Biblical Gospel, which she doesn't do. Second, The Bible says women are made to "help" men, not teach them. In fact, the Bible is very clear that women are forbidden to teach men or even speak in church. Yes, they should be quiet, let the men lead and teach, and if they have questions they can ask their husbands at home and learn from them. I could go on for days about her other issues. My point is, stop following people. Study the word of God. Lock yourself away in prayer and God will send his Spirit to guide you to Jesus.

I’m sorry brother, but you seem like an arrogant windbag. You are sad that she was not lecturing in soteriology.. You are incensed that she makes the hours of study that you have put in to building your own temple absurd. How many children have you taken from the garbage dump and turned into doctors? How many nations have you brought from being majority Muslim to majority Christian? Mozambique is a majority Christian nation now. There is one reason that occurred. There was a woman, drunk with Holy Spirit, who decided to put the Lord to the test- doing it his way for His glory. Your Soteriology is bullshit . She has brought canabals and Muslims to faith in God. These accomplishments are stunning. You cannot deny the fruit of her life. It shames you to try. Heidi Baker is the founder of a university in Mozambique. Perhaps you could teach there. Send her a résumé after you get saved.

It seems like it's more of an issue of style than it is about doctrine. In the US, we have a naturalistic understanding of things and in other places in the world, they have a very supernatural understanding of things. Despite the abuses, there is a genuine move of God that is happening there and a little bit over here as well. I grew up in a Latin American church and have seen some mighty manifestations of God including healings, restored body parts that were missing, extremely accurate prophetic words and various other gifts. In American churches, this is almost completely absent, but they have some really good bible studies. I think if you started a ministry in the third world, you would need to have the demonstration of power and you might not have any success with just expository teaching and apologetics. I think it's wrong to label something as demonic just because it looks weird. It's better to admit that you just don't know about these kinds of things. Even if you have a PHD in theology, you could be inept at praying for people and dealing with the demonic, and just because you're an expert in one area, it doesn't make you an expert in all areas.

Dr. Brown tends to defend the insane behaviors and heretical teachings of his crony friends by appealing to their impeccable lifestyles of holiness and their incredible love for Jesus. He used the same language to defend Mike Bickle. We are all supposed to give these wolves a pass because Dr. Brown knows them and vouches for their hearts. Well Dr. Brown has demonstrated that -surprise- he can't see people's hearts after all. Dr. Brown thinks antisemitism and being critical of charismania are more serious sins than robbing widows, false prophecy, and sexual abuse.

Once again these faith healers healings only happen in a foreign country deep in the boonies. Brown says 1000's of churches were planted in Mozambique, okay provide use with proof of just 500 of them. Always healings and miracles without proof. Same old cookie cutter song and dance. Brown has lost so much credibility with me.

Paul said, “Do not be drunk with wine, but be filled with the Spirit.” Not that that language absolutely necessitates that there be a 100% parallel between being drunk and being filled with the Spirit, but there has to be a reason that being filled with the Spirit is juxtaposed with being drunk with wine and not fornications, gossip, gluttony, thievery, etc. . There has to be some similarity. Paul could have said not to be sad or anxious or complain, but he skipped over all those things and the one thing he used as the opposite of being filled with the Spirit was being drunk. Does that mean that everything we see that is called “drunk in the Holy Spirit” is legitimate? Of course not. But when the Holy Spirit fell at Pentecost the common misconception in the crowd was that these people were drunk. All that scripture explicitly states here is that they were praising God in different languages but is that really enough for the common consensus in the surrounding crowd to be that they are obviously drunk? That’s something we have to think about, but I don’t think it is. There’s a lot more that could be said about this such as that “In his presence is fullness of joy.” When God's glory filled Solomon's temple it says that the priests could not STAND to minister. This isn't the way we say "The paint smell was so strong I couldn't stand to be in there anymore." There are words in the text for "could not" and "stand" and "to minister." This seems to indicate to me that they couldn't stand. I’ve been uncomfortable around some of these things. But can I simply use what makes me feel uncomfortable as my litmus test for what is of God or not? “But, would God do something that makes us uncomfortable?” I'm sorry if this is indelicate but how do kids feel when they overhear their parents being intimate? All through the New Testament (and quite a bit in the Old) our relationship with God is compared to a marriage. Actually it is flat out called a marriage. The Jewish betrothal and wedding went right along with the Last Supper and Jesus' parables and statements. A man would go to a woman and ask her to be his wife (really her father and then her). Their betrothal was sealed by drinking wine together. If she would drink wine with him they were engaged after that. It took a divorce to sever it. Then the groom would vow not to drink wine again until they were married. Then he would go to his father’s house and build a chamber onto the house for his them and for her. And then the groom didn’t know when, but at some point his father would say, “It’s time” and the wedding procession would come and get the bride and the bridesmaids had to be ready with their lamps. Christ is our groom and we are his bride. I acknowledge that the one part or this analogy that does not work is that a marriage is not consummated until after the ceremony, but what is a marriage without bedroom time? There isn’t one. I apologize for being this personal, bug is that not a time for a husband to so ravish his bride that she may seem a bit to…lose control? That she may act a little differently from how she acts when she’s just sitting on the porch reading a book? That she may make sounds that are not sounds she makes all day long and to even move in ways that are not all day everyday movements? If you walked in on that moment might you feel a bit…uncomfortable? Would your not feeling comfortable mean that something wrong was going on? Also, the Old Testament talks a lot about dancing. David dancing his heart out and all that. What if somebody did that in a church today? Most people would feel terribly uncomfortable. I probably would too. I know this isn't the same thing but Psalms encourages dancing to the Lord but most churches would put people out if they did that. Maybe we're a bit uptight compared to the Bible.

When it comes to assessing someone’s faith and their connection with Christ, I exercise great caution. I typically examine their fruits, both past and present. If the fruits are good and Godly, then the tree from which they come should be as well. I also consider their lifestyle. If they lead an extravagant life, using donations for non-essential things like cosmetic surgery, luxury vehicles and homes, or costly vacations, I cease to listen to them. I understand that terms like “extravagant” and “luxury” are subjective. However, a true disciple of Christ, living entirely on donations, who owns a house that costs double or more than the average home in their country, raises questions about their ministry and the way they manage God's provided resources. Such individuals will certainly not receive any financial support from me. Many Christian leaders begin their ministries with a heart for God, but end up being swayed by status and wealth, persisting in their past ways even when they know it’s wrong. Consequently, God allows their sins and desires to blind them permanently. Engaging in biblical discussions is beneficial. However, we must tread carefully when discussing about religious leaders and their way they seek God. We should pray, allowing God to reveal the truth to us without degrading talks, neither investing too much energy into it. We must acknowledge that our knowledge is limited. I have not doubts that there are tons of information about God, His kingdom, and the spiritual realm that we don't know because are not mentioned in the Bible. We need to be extremely cautious to not commit the same error the Pharisees made, relying entirely on their wisdom and education, while condemning to death the Messiah of Isaiah 53, who had come for their salvation. To put it simply, I prefer to spend my time and energy understanding what God wants specifically from me and for my life, rather than trying to discern if God is working through someone else’s life. That’s just my perspective.

Dr. Parker should read Acts 2. He will discover there that when the Holy Spirit comes in power on human beings, the results don't always fit someone's sense of order and propriety. Some of the onlookers thought the Lord's disciples being baptized in His Spirit were drunk. So much for decently and in order. We should never promote indecency and disorderliness as a substitute for the true moving of the Holy Spirit, but when the divine comes on human flesh, sometimes weird things happen. Even though it might be happening while under the genuine influence of the Holy Spirit, I would usually attribute most truly weird behavior to humanity rather than to the divine. Consider the bizarre behavior of King Saul when the Holy Spirit came upon him when he was in rebellion and seeking to murder David. Nevertheless, Paul warned the Corinthians that the unlearned could think they were mad when they were all exercising the true Holy Spirit gift of speaking in tongues. Sometimes one's sense of prim and proper might be indecent and out of order when the Holy Spirit is working to accomplish His ends. Be careful about taking offense at what you don't understand.
