Thank you so very much!
Loved this. Jw, how did you take your film thru airport security?
@@danielb8550 I put it in a clear plastic makeup bag! The security at the Japan airport was very accommodating and had no problem doing a hand check
Great video. Gave me some ideas for my own trip.
Yay! Have a great trip
Really nice one shots, keep posting :)
will do :)
Nice colors in your photos. Is radiation still a concern in Japan?
Loving these shots! Can't wait to visit Japan!
You absolutely should!
Wonderful 😊😊

Thanks for the support!
The thumbnail photo in the shopping mall is amazing. The way the colours work together, golds, oranges and salmons but with that forest green bass note. Looks staged but it isn't. I'm guessing the interior architect is owed some praise as well.
Thank you so much! Yeah that was at the main Osaka train station. My husband was standing around googling directions and then I saw this moment and had to capture it 😊
Your eye for composition and lighting is outstanding! Awesome work!
Really appreciate the kind words ❤
Your photos capture the essence of life in Japan 😍
That was the goal! Thank you 🫶🏻
These were beautiful! Subbed!

Thankfully finding beauty in Japan is incredibly easy! Good luck!
I was there in April and also shot a bit on film, getting wanderlust from this video. Also: beautiful photos!
@@walk_dont_walk we should have gone in April! It was so hot in August 🥵
Beautiful video and beautiful photos!
These are really great photos - the medium format ones actually blew my mind a bit 🙌🏻
Thank you so much! Medium format film is my favourite. It slows me down (in a good way).
Great photos!

I’m from Toronto (live north of the city now). I studied film at Ryerson and used to do some casual hobby photography. I’ve been following your work for years and you are hands down my favourite photographer. If I ever get married it would be a dream to hire you. Great video!

That shot from the Dolomites that you also chose as the thumbnail is truly magnificent🥹✨
woah! I used to shoot on a zenit, unfortunately it got a light leak :( what was the film on that?
I think all of the images from each camera were beautiful in their own way. ❤
This was a joy to watch! so many small moments of magic captured ✨️
Superb compositions ! I hope you get tot travel at least as much in 2024 :) Cheers
Really enjoy the photos you took. They had an Eggleston feel to them. It was interesting to see how you captured Italy over time.
I just looked up his work and it’s incredible! I hadn’t heard of him before but now I’m very inspired. Thanks so much :)
I aspire to take pictures like you did
Loved the pics and so interesting to revisit a country with different cameras when its not up to your own choice. Quick question, did you use some sort of compressor or something on you audio? Your voice kept on ducking thru out the video... Anyways, you got urself a new subscriber.
Thank you so much! Yeah, I kept saying to myself I have to make the best with whatever gear I have. And sorry about that! My husband says it’s because I need learn to speak closer into the mic haha. New setup. Have to get used to it.
Wow your composition and eye is phenomenal. A lot of film pics i see are so random but every shot in this is excellent. NIce work
Thank you so much! The chaos + beauty of this country is a dream for photographers.
you took amazing pictures on these cameras 😍 Definitely following you on instagram from now on! 😊
Thank you! :) I appreciate the support!
Great video. I like the format of you talking over the photos. And I especially liked the photos in the beginning with the reflections in the open window.
Hey thanks so much! I’m looking forward to making more videos like this. And those reflection photos were some of my favs, too!
Love this style
