Aside from Disney (and probably other public attractions), animatronics are no longer a profitable aspect they were just there in poor condition (most of the time) and the 2007 remodel removed curtains, dim lighting, and showroom decor and from that point on the animatronics just took up space and no one really cared anymore about the shows. Fnaf was the icing on the cake as any child who thought of the animatronics would’ve only thought of them in the light of fnaf and it ruined the image of CEC. The company doesn’t hate its history (given there’s 5 legacy stores now) it’s just the animatronics are simply bygone relics now and aren’t necessarily profitable in todays age coupled with the whole IPad kid culture being widespread today too
Something tells me that this is Citrus Heights, CA, which got their Road stage removed in 2015 for a 1 stage.

So sad after all these years they still don’t get the message
The company knew a change had to happen, the animatronics were just outdated forms of entertainment that aren’t profitable in todays age and for the most part they had stood there in bad condition with no one caring and paying attention to the shows anymore (especially with the iPad kid culture being the norm today), and fnaf completely changed the image of animatronics. They get the message actually (there’s 5 legacy stores in fact so they DONT hate their history) but their presence really didn’t do any favors for the company.

Thank you, Helen was having a signal issue. One of the signals stayed on and caused her mouth to stay open. Once the signal was sent again to open and close her mouth it went back to normal.
