Hi from my farm in India..Nice explanation..we are busy planting paddy these day.. here we flood the fields and transplant...interested in trying this method out next time.

Enjoyed your video and explanations. My niece finished her soil science degree at UP. Now she will be attending college in Canada taking Precision Agriculture. Interesting. How deep is too deep? if the field is irrigated, can you sow deeper? Also, the rotovator does not damage the seeds? I guess you don't run it full force. This spring will be my first year growing rice, and I plan to do it in a way close to yours

Japan dry rice farming. Spread the rice seed and cover it with previous rice stock. No till. Wait for rain. Ducks for weeding and pest control. Duck manure for fertilizer.

i may as well suggest you got to have a hand tractor or kuliglig in ilocano to compact your planted rice if you dont have a racker or sagad happy planting rice sir and that is really the way for upland planting rice sahod ulan
