He absolutely did mention he has a girlfriend, right after she asked if he was married. To which she replied, "Who cares?” Also, is showing up a someone else’s blind date to tell the girl the person they were supposed to meet is cancelling the date really the same as going on a blind date for someone else. It isn’t like he pretended to be Kang Tae-moo. And letting a person about the be sick into your place to throw up is pretty reasonable. It isn’t what he did that was wrong, it is what he bidden to say. He should have told his girlfriend he met her cousin to turn her down on Kang Tae-moo’s behalf, and he should have told her she was the person in his apartment. I mean, it is her cousin, so its not like all three of them weren’t going to eventually meet each other a the same time anyway.

When Hyun woo teamed up with Hae in's auntie, I cheered too lol. Those two and his mom were my favorites from the start. I also had trouble understanding Hae in sometimes, you were spot on in how she added to her husbands humiliation along with her family. I was constantly waiting for her to apologize.

I hope you enjoy this show as much as I did. It is funny, and cute, with great performances, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously. When I first watched it, I hadn’t seen more than a couple of K-dramas, and didn’t quite catch on to that this show is poking fun at some k-drama tropes, so I kind of disliked Kang Tae-moo at first. When rewatching it later the satire was a bit more obvious. One of the very first K-dramas I saw was The Uncanny Counter, and Kim Se-jeong, who plays Shin Ha-ri, was so different in that show I didn’t realize at first that it was the same actress in Business Proposal. The leads, the secondary leads, and the supporting cast are all fantastic in this how. Some suggestions for future shows to watch and react to, if you keep doing this, are Its Okay To Not Be Okay, The Glory, and Extraordinary Attorney Woo. All those show are top notch, very different from this one and from each other, with great cinematography and editing, directing, writing acting, etc. I love Business Proposal, but those other shows are up there with the best television I have ever seen. If you haven’t seen The Glory, be forewarned that it is a dark show, and the first episode can be pretty difficult to watch, but it is definitely worth seeing. I have watched a couple of times, and also watched several reactions to it, and I still find myself tearing up at a couple of scenes in that first episode. Two other show that that might be interesting to watch (if you are a bit weird like me, and enjoy watching re-makes and comparing it to the original show), given that you are a fan of both C-dramas and K-dramas, are the Chinese original show A Love So Beautiful (2017) and the Korean remake of the same name that aired in 2020. And if you ever decide too delve into non-Asian content, I would recommend the the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica from 2004 (really 2003 if you include the two part miniseries that served as the pilot for the show). It might not be an Asian show, but it is incredible, and one of the key roles is played by The Korean-American actress Grace Park. I can’t imagine anyone not being hooked after watching the two part pilot. Any way, I am looking forward to rewatching Business Proposal with you, and maybe eventually getting around to doing the same with Marry My Husband. Queen of Tears I haven’t seen yet.
