Neat country back there. If memory serves me correctly my grandfather worked back in some of that country off and on in the crosscut days from maybe the 20's to perhaps the early 40's.

Sounds like his teeth are quite dull. But could be wrong, I know on the buncher I was running she ran pretty quiet when teeth were sharp.

Yep... I could get used to this kinda weather in March here in this neck of the woods. Lack of snow, however, may lead to a long fire season.
Crazy too muddy one day almost the too dusty almost feels like spring
Last week we were running on the frost and today it's 65, pretty crazy.

It's ran by the operator. He can adjust the parameters from the seat but if he leaves it alone all he really has to do is steer.

Very little if anything gets exported from Idaho. The timber in Washington and Oregon is better suited for export plus the cost to get it to a port would be prohibitive.
Ok I see some truck from Woodinville WA. Log truck and pup with cedar coming from Idaho Trent hitting I 90 west bound and down, though you might know

It's pretty steep, we are right on the breaks into a drainage. I'll have some pretty cool video next week hopefully, the boys are getting their tether rigging together.

@@chuckdriver9672 I know, I haven't said a word edge wise and some ol guy that can't cut his own tricked my wife into stating we used to cut wood............now I have 4 cord left to cut for said ol guy plus 5 for us 🤦♂️

So, I just dropped one on my property, the big log is 46 inches base diameter 60 feet long, that brought me to this channel for obvious reasons.

Man, is that the hydraulic pump whining on that thing? Sure seems loud in the video!
I said the same thing, it made noise since day one.
@@chuckdriver9672 The pump on mine whine's the first time you idle it up for a few minutes until everything warms up then it quiets down but not nearly as loud as that one.
