Well I used to use them a lot in Chiv 1, but honestly very few people will listen to you, feels a little pointless. Also playing without a hud makes it trickier to send them.

Sometimes the anticheat gets flagged by the antivirus, make sure it's not shutting it down on start. There are a lot of cases of this happening on Steam, don't know if Epic might have the same issue

First check if your console is enabled, you can see it under general settings. Go to the keybindings and make sure there's a key assigned to it, it is usually ~ by default, but sometimes the mapping is empty. Finally, while in a game, open the console and type togglehud.

with 3rd person u will play better

I really like the 1st person, way more immersive

I'd say 3rd is better for begginers, as it gives you more vision of your surroundings, but it also has an early skill cap. I got way better at the game when I switched to 1st person, it feels more fluid and it makes it easier to read incoming attacks
