Samsung Bespoke Fridge Noise - Listen Before Buying!
Noise generated by our new Samsung Bespoke RF30BB6600QLAA refrigerator. Repair tech said there was something going on with the closed loop system. Definitely not normal. Happens even after unit is unplugged so not a fan issue. They shared videos and descriptions with Samsung engineering to determine resolution. Instead of following up, my case was just closed. No follow up from Samsung or additional support. Attempts to open a new case have been denied. All I can do is recommend folks to think twice before buying a Samsung Bespoke fridge. Especially if you have an open concept home. Cheers!

Your water pressure may be too high. I have the bespoke with the 4 doors and when autofilling the pitcher or making ice, it was squealing after like 4 days of having it. I dont do unnecessary noise so I asked google because I was ready to send it back.... Someone told me to check the water pressure. I didnt think it made a difference and assumed the higher the pressue the better but I pulled out the frig turned down the water and haven't had a sound since. The water valve does not have to be all the way open, just enough to fill the reserve tanks.
Yep same noise on my bespoke. Havent pulled it out yet and look into it.
So my tech guy just left. He checked compressor, etc. His main theory was just a design flaw, because the sound didn't seem to happen when the back panel inside the fridge was removed. The refrigerant line etc in the back of the fridge was a bit askew and off its clips but even after putting them on I still hear the sound.
Hey! Yeah I received a similar response. The short of it was that they thought it was a defect with the sealed system and they couldn’t access it. Samsung said they can’t help me unless the noise gets above a certain decibel range. I can’t tell if I’m getting used to the sound or it quieted down but no issues other than that. It was interesting though. The local tech had never encountered the issue before. They had multiple Samsung folks on the phone and finally I had to email this video to Samsung “engineering”. They never got back to me but ultimately closed my ticket with no explanation. Fingers crossed that’s there’s no further issues.

This is the EXACT same sound ours is making! I couldn't find anybody else who talked about it. Did you ever have bigger issues from it? I currently have a tech request ticket in but don't really want to waste my (and their) time if it's just a runaround situation.

I was fortunate to have met and practiced with the '76 Kiwis headed to Montreal. They spent the Spring rowing out of our (Syracuse U.) boathouse on Onondaga and we did many pieces with them. They also took the time to share their experiences. But, we tried teaching them American football and they didn't quite "get in behind".
Hardly a surprise, here in New Zealand we play REAL football. Rugby, or as I’ve heard it described by an American Sports commentator “ Carnage in underwear!”…. Or …. as we prefer to say, Gridiron / American football is “Rugby for hairdressers!”. Do you really have to wear protective armour, shoulder pads and helmets to play football??. Nah!
