I adore this, it reminds me of a book tree my Grandmother had years ago. Very same concept but I think you were able to just fold the pages. So I just tried that with a paperback it wasn’t quite right so maybe it was cut too. Anyway thank you for the memory of hers.

It’s frigging amazing!! The way you did the headboard is incredible. It looks expensive but and I am so sorry for critiquing your hard work I just thought it was going to be different w the words. I am not feeling the lettering at all. What I invision on that sign is the name of a mortuary, like even using your own last name. Making the words kinda fancy just as if you would see a sign like this in front of a local mortuary. I wouldn’t even try to free hand it. I’d use a stencil or thin wood or whatever material letters glued to the sign. In black. At the bottom of the sign ( in smaller or spooky lettering ) you could write We’re just dying to see you or hurry back or I dunno? - something to that effect.
