Well I can't keep torches in this tank but everything else seems to be doing well. I haven't tested in a while and I haven't done a water change in a couple months... I would say it works well but the only way to tell if it's working would be for me to test and I am just not that into my tanks much anymore... I might sell this one this week or next so I won't have it anymore. I will only have the 80 gal going forward. Hope you have luck!

it should yes but I found that the first baffle holds it better and just is easier to manage to be honest.

That I am not sure. I would search for someone that might be using it in freshwater. I have not heard of someone using them in freshwater though.

I do not have this tank anymore but I was using an IKEA kitchen cabinet. It worked great. As a top I bought an extra door and reinforced the inside of the cabinet. It held strong until I sold it for over 2 years.

I don't think so. I would stop at 5 though. Not much space for the fish to swim and have their own area in such a small tank. That seems perfect though.

You can really put as many as you want but I wouldn't put more than that. If they seem happy and don't grow to big I say go for it tbh. @@klaudioballa3003

I have a Gen 5 and Gen 6 XR 15 Blues and a 12in Blade I think it's the coral grow in between the 2 XR15's.

Thanks man. Yeah just been busy with the pups but never stopped doing maintenance and what not. I'll make an update on the 80gal sometime this week. :)

I do them about every 2 weeks. Everything seems fine. Still can't keep sticks but that is ok. I don't plan on having anything crazy in this tank anytime soon.

I would go with a sump if I could now. Just better to get things out of the way. Although you would have a lot of space for things in the back if you get the 120 for things. Might need 2 skimmers though if you wanted to run one. everything else fits fine. I have even seen UV sterilizers being external to even tanks with a sump so that would be up to you. I show it in another video but I forgot which one to be honest lol.

I really like the 40gal lagoon look. I also think the length is better for smaller tangs if you want one to then move into a bigger and longer tank in the future.

I didn’t do it, the fish store did it unfortunately. Maybe I can do it at home with one that I get from the store fresh out of freshwater. Lol

Yeah I heard it clogs up the end of the dosing line so that is why I wanted a more consistent stream. You think dosing it in small amount will change much?

I dose it once a day as well and have had no issues with it clogging. Just check the tip of the line periodically when doing maintenance. When I initially started using it I did try smaller doses but noticed 1. No change in results 2. I had to use more AFR to get the same alkalinity as once a day.

Yeah that is why I wanted to dose spreading it out through the day but I heard it may be bad to do that?

@@CO.Reefing It will definately crust up like alj said. I run my rodi top off over the dosing lines to keep them rinsed off automatically ... Also weigh the afr to measure it

I have seen people weigh it but if they say a scoop should work then I think I am not that far off from the weight. That is a good idea on the ato line over it. mine sits where I won't be able to do that but i'll just clean that every 2 weeks when I do maintenance. @@82thegonz

The small version should but I would double check to see on their website if they claim for it to fit. I got the larger one for this 80gal.
