Hey bro mind I ask how much do gap years matter for placements ? I have had a 5 year employment gap after passing out of my college and I've been preraring for GATE , can you tell from your experience how much it matters ? Some say with gap years you won't get placed even from an IIT is it true ?
you will get placed for sure, You just have to justify your gap with reason. maintain good cgpa in IIT and no one will stop you from getting good placement.
@@RahulIITbombay I see thanks for your reply, brother are there any prerequisite's or subjects that I should be clear with before going for Mtech ? I already have a good command over DSA , are there any other subjects that I should be good at ? for example probability or anything ? I don't want to take any chances, I'll study as much as I can.
@@frickofunky2008 if you want to learn Machine learning then before entering IIT pls watch linear algebra lectures and probability after giving gate.

Hi bhaiya i will start preparing for gate 2024 now i know i will not get good marks but i think i can get good marks in iiit and bits exam I am doing 6lpa job. Is it better to continue the job and gain experience or go for mtech if selected
