Anytime we start pushing for increasing help for teh poor, they start teh "communist" song or teh "welfare queen" song, and people get convinced that poor people are just bad people that deserve to be poor. Sadly Christians in their churches, and their PASTORS and PRIESTS, repeat essentially teh same propaganda, and no one is brave enough to tell them "that is not the Jesus of teh Bible". So churches have just kept their charity to things like food, clothing and scholarships, since they get punished for actual housing which would then make them not "homeless"

Did you ever hear about "mugsy" he was a professional basketball player. It was not about height, it was about dedication and finding a way to play with taller fellows. However in our culture Basketvall is not pushed as religiously as soccer, or baseball, or boxing, if it was, we would ahve more people involved in it. Take for example baseball, You have a league in cuba, and we ahve one in Mexico, any talent, get immediately siphoned to USA. Soccer, same thing, however neither American football, nor Basketball gets pushed in different Hispanic countries as a "national sport" so of course you dont find as much talent. Performace in sports ahs a certain percentage about size, but it is also a lot about skill. Otehrwise quarterbacks would be the talest and strongest members of teh team, which they are not.

He was a good basketball player he could dribble, and shoot and move, but no dunking involved, therefore his ability to DUNK was never a factor. Again, the more the sport gets promoted in another country, the more talent you find there.

I grew up in a secular family with naturalistic dogmas . * All institutions have a tendency to corruption , not just Christian . * Despite its many errors , I’ve concluded Christianity has been a net good in human history . For example , The scientific method itself evolved in the West , largely because of Christian intellectual presuppositions . * Our society has become increasingly irreligious over the last 50 years and yet , I don’t think we’ve become a more virtuous or enlightened culture . 1 ) The problem is that "mental health" is not the most significant factor. A person who wants to cause harm, with limited access to guns, or no access to guns, has their ability to cause harm limited. 2) Criminals can legally buy guns. Should they have them? No !! But they can absolutely get them through "private sales". That is the little problem that no one wants to address. If we make "private sales" as complicated as "used car sales" we now have a trace on all weapons. Are some going to get by ? Yes !! However the vast majority of people who are currently selling guns as if they were used toys. If we were to close that "private sales" loophole, people would be more careful to whom and how they sell guns too. These "eyes closed" sales allow people to buy guns, sell guns, and come back for more, thus keeping the revolving door of the gun trade open to CRIMINALS. Based on these "private sales" people can sell guns to ANYONE without becoming criminals, which should be a criminal act. If you front stolen goods to a criminal, you become a criminal, but not so in the sale of guns. That alone would stop and limit a lot of gun sales. Though in words, every state claims that the sale of guns to criminals is not permitted, there are many states that do not require background checks on a private sale. Will this stop 100% of sales to criminals, ? no , but it will limit the number of people willing to involve themselves on transactions of that kind. Now if we include background checks required before EVERY PRIVATE sale it will work a lot better.

All citizens are required to do their due diligence before selling a firearm. That’s at the Federal level all the way down to the states. As for your pro gun registry stance - if you don’t understand, why the government knowing the whereabouts of every firearm in a free state, is a huge problem, then there’s not much to say.
