Just a reminder. If you have a rodent problem (or possibility), you really need to get all the paper items put into hard containers that the pests cannot get into. One mouse can do a lot of damage to our stored items, and can cause a HUGE loss.

Since you asked, when you talked about cutting down a tree to use as fire wood that doesn't work that well..green wood doesn't burn unless you are talking about a dead tree..It is better to have wood cut and dried for a year prior to use.

Just a little fyi…on the cups of ramen, we had a 12 pack that was past expiration and I went ahead and ate it anyways. The noodles were fine and I don’t feel like would expire, but the powdered seasoning I think did. It didn’t taste right. I didn’t get sick from it but it didn’t taste normal. Now on the ramen plastic packets we had some that also were past expiration and the noddles and the flavoring was fine no changes that you could taste. I was a little disappointed because the cup of ramen has always been my favorite. lol! So we’ll be stocking more of the plastic packet ones opposed to the cups.

Why are you under the belief that packaged(especially canned) would "go bad"? The dates on packaging are "best by dates". The food in packaged/canned goods do not turn to poison on that best by date stamped on its lid or packaging. I'm making/eating tuna salad from tins of tuna with the best by date of 2018 and I'm here typing about it🙂 Only food with a TRUE "expiration date" is baby formula.

Democrats said during debate before Thursday's vote that the concerns were overblown and a ban would block public sector innovation and research. Overall, 213 Republicans and three Democrats voted for the bill, while 192 Democrats voted against it. "The U.S. House of Representatives voted largely along party lines to PREVENT the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency. The CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act, introduced by Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.), SEEKS TO BLOCK the U.S. central bank from continuing efforts toward the development of a digital dollar. Republicans EXPRESSED CONCERNS that a U.S. CBDC could be used to control Americans."
