You are correct in a extent where in older versions of windows USB flash drives were more vonuable to damage, while newer versions of windows has a fast eject option that won't effect you drive, just make sure your not coping to it
all "ejecting" it does is just unmount it. it dosent really matter too much since the most it will do is confuse the os for a second
This is incorrect. Modern day OS's have protection against data loss when unplugged. You really don't have to virtually eject the drive before unplugging it.
Thats completely fake, after all versions that came after windows vista, the OS has a protection that lets you unplug it without having to do that

This tip is outdated af, it doesnt matter that much in win 10/11. You could use your flash drive to boost your performance little bit ( it could kinda work as ram ) or if you have open some program that stores data in the usb and you just unplugged you could corrupt it or lose your progress. Same with transfering data into or out of the flashdrive.

What distro do you use?
i dualboot arch and windows 11. Arch for general usage and windows for games should they not have a native linux version or proton not being good enough
