IMPORTANT: There are two bits of guitar audio in here that don’t have videos to accompany them. The second lead part over the chorus doesn’t have it because I planned for it not to, and the distorted quiet intro part in the beginning doesn’t have it because I forgot. iMovie has been acting up recently and I’ve spent so much time trying to fix that that I forgot that intro audio clip. That said, it’s pretty much just octaves being played on the low C and high C (remember, guitar is in CGCFAD) strings, on the twelfth, fifth, tenth, and third frets.

Really sucks you couldn't get the video to work. This is one of my favorite songs at the moment and was looking for some covers for it. 😭 I listened to the whole video though and this sounds BEAST!

Ok so… this is a different format than I normally put my covers up in, but there’s a reason for that. I could not, for the life of me, get the video to properly sync up with the audio. I re-recorded several different video clips, I tried to edit down the fucking audio itself, and nothing. I sat there for an hour, nearly in tears, just trying to get the audio and video to sync up. I’m a perfectionist and I work really really hard on these covers and when something happens that is out of my control, it really depresses me. This is one of my favorite songs from this band, though, and I was pretty determined to get it up on RUclips. So this is an audio-only guitar cover. I know the visual component is a big deal on these, and hopefully I can get my camera working on the next cover, but for this one, audio-only is the best I can do. If you’re doubtful that it’s me playing this, I would highly recommend that you check the tab linked in the description. I learned this by ear and from watching Meegs play it live, so I can assure you that I am playing through here.

This guitar cover is actually a Christmas gift for my mother, who definitely inspired the love of music that I have today. Love you mom, merry Christmas!!

Was somehow surprised that the solo was done with the keyboard in the video (yeah I know, isn't always accurate) as it totally sounds like something, RZK would do with the guitar and some interesting plugin..
