I started drumming at 14 when I first bought myself some sticks and arranged a selection of pillows into a makeshift kit. I then progressed to a real kit and In my 20s went on to tour & record with several bands before going into education teaching music and media.
In 2021 I decided that teaching, though enjoyable, was not my burning ambition, so I quit my job, sold my marker pens, & built a drum studio. I now spend my time traveling around Europe & playing live gigs as often as possible.

Technical question: When is a fill considered a fill? Whenever you do more than necessary? Great drumming as always. :)
Thank you. <3 A fill is normally a transition between sections in a song to mark a change like from verse to chorus. I don't really do any fills in this song (less is more!) but if you listen to "Sound Of The Machine" there are fills all the way through the chorus of that. Depends what suits the song really. :-)

I do like to make them dance! 😂 I was playing Mesh's drumkit and it was about 50% lower than I have my kit. I felt like a giant trying to play a toddler's kit.

I was a little underwhelmed until that beautiful shot with the rainbow. Lovely.
I'm not sure my camera captured how amazing the view was. You can see the sea all across the skyline, but it doesn't really show in the video. The rainbow appearing was just perfect! I thoroughly recommend a visit there. 😊

Every time I see you driving, it takes a few seconds for my head to realise that it's right that you're driving on the "wrong" side of the road. xD The story with the rocks and the tyre made me laugh more than I should have.
