Shaun Harvey would be a great CEO. I worked with him at Bradford City and Stuart Mcall knows him well. He also was CEO at Leeds United and high positions in the English Football Association. He’s currently a director at Wrexham but I think Stuart might be able to persuade him to have a go with n Scotland with Rangers.

Every pod you listen to seems to think it’s always going to be 2 in midfield plus a 10 ,away games I can definitely see 3 in the middle with wide guys who can make it a 5 at times , in my humble opinion in these away games win the battle and the talent should take care of itself

I can only hope the experience away in Europe can fuel them rather than a negative impact after such a strong start in the league.

My earlier comment was removed because I don’t condemn the abuse Tav got, I’m afraid he’s a player on close to 30k a week and looked like he was half arsed last Sunday (not the only one), so for me like Derek Ferguson said on open goal you take the fans frustration and comments on the chin and get on with it. The boy never said anything over the top or personal about him or his family, he simply like many has had enough of this and told him the home truths.

I think their is huge question marks against the manager. He's been dealt a bad hand but how open and easy we are to play against is extremely worrying. Rodgers has his number sadly. I can only hope he can turn it round but I don't see it

I’m one of Tavs biggest supporters. At this moment in time we need a proper leader and I struggle to justify paying £30k+ a week on a 33 year old right back (next month) with 2 years left on his deal. Another contract mismanagement giving him such a long contract extension.

You know.... listening to some of the conversations makes one think football is a technological science. It's NOT!! It's a very simple game of spacial awareness and movement. Standing and pointing doesn't cut it. Also, asking a player to try and use his well honed skills in a position that is alian to those skills is daft. PC seems to be trying to get players to play to his own ideoligy, instead he should be utilising their abilities. That's easier than putting square pegs into round holes. Draw a man, beat a man, pass the ball, score goals. What's to know?

Great show guys. It's been 3 years of regression under the current board. I read Adrian Bevington's interview. He has experience, knows how a club is run, Bennett is London based so give him the CEO job and let's get our club back to where we were.

We are talking about stuff from SG time. Tav goes forward Jack or Davis covers. It's very basic but we don't do it.

We do have a style of play and a structure but we don’t have the type of players required to make the style of play effective. I hope Clement goes back to the drawing board and comes up with something better that will work with this current group of players because right now we’re very easy to play through and any team with a little bit of quality has shown that this season.

Why are we not playing the players we brought in

Bennett rightly has had some heat but what we meant lose sight of is that he is trying to control the unsustainable financial model at the club. This happens in phases, strategically. Phase 1 would be hiring a new manager, 2 would be reducing the wage bill, 3 would be player trading and other non playing related issues will be dealt with in a priority manner. I feel JB is doing reasonably well on those fronts so far. Where he has not managed things well has been the communications side. He needs help with this and surely a club of our size cab attract a high calibre CEO? We are in a first phase operation, financially and on the field things will improve as we move through the remainder of this year and into 2025. We must stick by Clement and allow him to build the best team possible as hard as it may be to not be competitive with the rival, we must be patient! Great pod BTW.

Well said Shona regarding Tav's abuse outside of the stadium. Club should've called it out, condemned it and warn that if anything like that is seen again it will be dealt with severely.
